Woot, mystery!

Asuna is quite cute with her times to Kiriko. :)

Dang, that girl went nuts! I can't wait to see the cause of this mess.

Yeah, I found it odd how they were showing the female's body parts like that... It was annoying. o_O

The illustrations are shiity, but the story follows the LN.

So, if you want a sneak peek, then read the manga a bit.

^ i agree, the manga's illustrations are god awful, it made me want to puke, it seriously made me want to kill the artist who drew the characters in such an awful way the only decent thing about it is that it follows the LN, including the Non-linear story telling, but your seriously better off reading the Light Novels where the story telling is much better

also one illustration from the LN makes all the illustrations in the Manga look like shit

I see no point in reading side stories if i already know how everything ends.

because the side story characters are actually in some of the main volumes and plot

even before that, they are just good.

This made me laugh so hard because I had a pretty similar reaction the first time I saw the manga.

No, I don't think the manga hasn't reached LN vol. 3 in English (a quick google search gave me nothing) but I have seen it in Chinese. I assure you though that the art is a lot better.

Btw fellow LN readers,

Not sure why this question and its answers deserves a spoiler tag because you're asking a fairly non-plot-related thing. I think the name of the KOB guild leader should read Heathcliff. I agree with MidnightPride that it may not have been totally intended for his name to coincide with the main character of Wuthering Heights, but it's possible.

Love the series and concept. However, this episode adds more doubt to it's worth as the pacing has yet to slow and the plot is just becoming just that much more predictable.

But anyhow, this might be a flag for the series to start nailing itself to a main storyline instead of going through different mini-adventures each episode.

Oh yeah, and dat ass? WTH is up with the series filling up with fan service?! O.O

Oh shit not another one.

1. There are no plot yet, earlier episodes are a compilation of side stories from the 2nd volume. It's well important enough that the continuity will be seen in the 3rd volume

2. Same explanation as the top. side stories. Main story starts at chapter 8. Keep in mind that the main story starts at Floor 74, and the reason that they're putting in the SS into the story first besides explaining the "system of Aincrad" and introducing characters that will appear in the 3rd volume, it's because they're doing this chronologically.

3. Seriously "filling up", 3-5 seconds is "filling up"?
Real fan service anime feels insulted to be put into the same level as this.

inb4 someone point at me, I will not stop explaining.

Someone explain to me how these retards think Ghosts are possible? Once you die in the game, your body dies. There's no possible way for you to become a Ghost in the game.

How do millions of people around the globe believe in god? Once you die in real life, your body dies. There's no way for you to become an angel...

When on a death bed - which everyone playing the game pretty much is - you grasp at whatever straw you can find that happens to give you a better hand than you currently have.

Wow, yet another time jump. That's my only complaint about this series, but it's a big one. I get the feeling that a lot else is going on that we're not getting to see. I might just have to read the light novels after this series is over.

Anyway, it's awesome to have Asuna back. She's definitely my favorite girl so far. Nice to see her and Kirito working together again. I wonder what the explanation for this will be? Personally, I was thinking someone figured out a way to hack the game. Can't wait for the next episode.
I don't accept random friend requests, but feel free to PM me if you want to talk about something i've posted or talk about some anime/manga that i've seen.

The idea of revenge this time doesn't make sense really.

Nice episode with mystery around it and it's split into 2 parts. People keep dieing.

Anyway, Asuna is back and the nicest moment of the episode was the first part when she was taking a nap with Kirito.

Asuna.. I expected you to be much different. She seems much more of a stuck up who is trying to be what she isn't... I think that maybe she'll warm up in time but she definitely needs to just calm down and be herself. I liked her much better in the first episode.

Also floor 57 already and we're only on episode 5, by the rate it's going now it'll be close to 100 at around episode 10.

I know, right? The pace is quite fast.

Seeing Asuna and Kirito together was cute. And Asuna grew up to be quite a formidable character.

Oh, we have a nice mystery on our hands now. My instinct was correct on Yoruko dying in this episode, but the mystery itself has got me stumped and curious. Asuna turned out to become a famous player on her own, and it seems she became well known before Kirito did - when people at the pub/restaurant recognized her but not Kirito.
