As a novel reader, I enjoy the show but I'm not ignoring the fact that they cut out and compressed a certain details just to fit into the length. |

I, who absolutely despises blatant fanservice (i.e. panty shots, faceplanting the male lead in a girl's bossom...), didn't even notice it. It's not like it was much to see, there's just an extra line where her butt is. If a crease in clothing is considered fanservice, there's tentacle bondage in Fate/Zero during a Caster vs. Saber... I see the selective lenses on those glasses are working... |

| Oh, so this is vol.8 side story, figures why i didn't recognize it. But i must say i'm happy with this outcome, of probably all side stories getting animated. It was more immersing watching this episode actually not knowing what will happen at all. But vol.1 material should also be more exciting as i've read it long ago before anime was even announced. Yoruko has a fine ass, too bad she died... |

The reason Kirito is so well known is BECAUSE he abandoned everyone and grinded solo to such a insanely high level, in the last episode he was described as "the guy who solo's the top floors" meaning not only is it uncommon but it is likely Kirito is the only one who can survive doing it. Summation: You would probably die trying to do this. My gaming experience would prove you otherwise. That's why i said that everyone in this show is a beginner and bad player. 2. No matter how strong you are, you can't solo a boss of a floor. It's still a raid party that will dictate the pace that the game can be cleared. 3. Death in game = death in real life. People really underestimate the players of SAO just because it has the elements of an MMO. |

| Nice episode, but didn't leave much impression or impact Like the tree scene, Kirito and Asuna are perfect together The murder mystery was pretty interesting and they explain things such as the save area, and other things pretty well that reaction of the guild members was pretty lame though |

The anime didn't put the relationship of Sachi and Kirito to justice. Sachi saw Kirito more of a father figure than lover. They never had any sexual relationships of the kind. He just comforted her during the Death game. In the LN they never actually sleep together, just in the same room. She slept on the bed and he slept on the floor. --- |

In the first episode he seemed like a coldhearted person who wanted to do everything by himself, but the next episode he's helping some girl and her guildmates... Really, it's only because someone just mentioned the story starting at episode 8, so if after that I still get to see random short intervals of the whole setting, then I'm through with this. |

Really, it's only because someone just mentioned the story starting at episode 8, so if after that I still get to see random short intervals of the whole setting, then I'm through with this. i have to agree with you a little there, this is mainly due to the anime being in chronological order and not the non-linear order like the light novels, it can get confusing because in the light novels they do a big 1.5 year timeskip with flash backs and sidestories to fill in the gaps the anime however is having to do timeskips almost in every other episode to do them in chronological order, which can lead to confusions, like how kirito said he will be a solo player only to join a guild the very next episode when someone who has read the LN would know that kirito was lonely and loved the company of the black cats so he didn't want to leave them, in the anime they show the timeskip but they give no explanation as to how kirito felt during those two months like the LN however it all comes together later anyway so i strongly recommend you finish the first cour (12 episodes) before you consider dropping it |

| She died... just like that? That's some pretty weak shit right there. At least the Kain dude got hanged and stabbed. Lasted a few seconds too. Shame I kinda liked her freckles. |
