THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Dizelmine and Villaguio meet on Kamogawa and Asteria traps them in an elevator to see what they will talk about. They mention their past at the Le Garite Academy and how Dizelmine wants to get Madoka so that she can unlock the power of the vox. Yuirkano interrupts the talk when she escapes from the Le Garite ship and crashes in Kamogawa. Izo and crew are shocked to see her and Villaguio is even more shocked. They explain that she is Villaguio's true sister and that Dizelmine saved her after the disaster at Militia. However, she doesn't remember her brother. This, of course, angers Villaguio. Madoka confronts Yurikano but Yurikano knows nothing about meeting Madoka before. So, Madoka and the girls sneak onto the Le Garite ship.

Also, we get a new ED this episode.

Well the new ED is much better and more soothing. The episode had some good moments but lots of moments really felt awkward. I wouldnt mind hearing Dizelmine and Villaguilio interaction friendly more as well as in general instead of being apart in different space craft. Would have preferred that over spending time with Yuriyuri who didnt even give any sort of revelation beyond that flower.

Hopefully all the screentime with Izo, Kirius, and Array actually leads to them also having tons of time in their mechs when the time is right for it.

I knew Madoka would end up going with one of the forces to space tho i didn't expect she would go with Le Garite out of her free will.
I taught she would either be captured by Le Garite or join De Metrio out of free will but these turns of events where nice as well especially Madoka's acting.
And Lan's brother got one of the things he wanted which is Madoka.

About Yurikano her memory loss was clear last episode already tho last episode it was the question whether she was the real Yurikano.
Her behaviour is that of a young child while the image Madoka saw a few times on her unit was acting like someone of her age.
It somehow seems that the memories and personality of Yurikano are in Madoka's Unit though the question remains why is it there.

His majesty arrives this episode and a conference begins.

Yurikano/Yuriyuri seems to be quite the strange girl but also entertaining to watch. Well overall, this episode was alright despite the lack of action.

Also, lol'd @ Madoka and Muginami's disguises. Priceless.

Laughed my ass off the moment that elevator stopped. Actually, it's a pity Yurikano interrupted it, though honestly I think it had run its course much faster than Asteria had hoped for.

I'm assuming Yurikano generated that flower, and I assume not consciously.

From the preview Madoka is in that "other world" fighting with the person that looks like Yurikano, and appears to be giving as good as she's getting. I'm also assuming she is not the same person as Yurikano. Though it's entirely possible that what Madoka is facing there is the part of Yurikano's personality that got 'lost', I'm thinking it's an ancestor or the spirit of an ancestor.

Awww Muginami was so lovely this episode, i never liked her as much as this time.
So it turns out it wasn't a clone but real Yurikano without any memories. It seems like her memories might've been taken by Rinne when she opened it and destoryed Militia Zodia, which would explain Madoka seeing her back in S1 and in previous episode.

Thanks! I thought she sounded familiar, but a quick look at her profile tells me she wasn't in anything I watched, so no... (well, Index II, but not a character I particularly paid attention to)

Unfortunately the new ED is listed as a "special" ED which means this is with 99% certainty one off deal. Still, Mamegu's voice is always lovely and soothing <3

all in all I've enjoyed the second season up to this point, even though it has not quite lived up to my increased expectations. The humorous bits tend to wo I think.rk the best,

That's what I love about the show, really. Last season I started watching one of the last episodes and I was surprised to realise I had missed the characters, as if they were real people, real-life friends. And seeing them again in s2 was exactly like that, like seeing friends who had been away for a few months.

Time being short at hand, I though this episode was perfect! Rinne totally impresses very much like its S1 started to around this episode. In fact THE FLOW AND BGM were PERFECT! Big shout to that during Yurikano’s crazy piloting and being shot down.

So in the first half among the many terrific parts of the gang of girls with Asteria tending quite a nice cage for our 2 leaders to reveal a lot whom during that part the following,

Of Lan is something unseen. TBH Lan was quite depressive at the start despite the yuri kiss she really changed in me her happiness with that part. That smile cannot be forgotten.

That being said in the later part the whole segment with Yukirano is simple to explain. My theorem is that Yurikano loves Lan’s brother and due to losing her memories what else to cling onto life than love in the deepest layers of one’s own mind to keep alive? There is nothing else that in fact could be but love. Maybe it’s not one of interpersonal taste but family, regardless it’s there. I think I am pretty right as to why the whole mentality of Yurikano is.

Moreover Yurikano has a split personality IMO where the other side knows it all and can stop Aura from using the destructive powers it contains. Question still remains how to revers it in order to stop the disaster.

That being said I can never get enough of Muginami in the spoiler
Her jogging on the spot was kind of funny there. However what really gets to me is her breasts in the spoiler
that jiggling unlike other series with anime girls in them doing the same is pleasant to the eye and very enticing. Muginami really for that reason is a favorite of mines in my Harem and also for a good cuddle feel. She really gave out a lot of that all around this episode.

What is alarming at the end of the episosde is the following one,

looks like a new type of OVID and it might be a combo of VOX tech and OVID one. It looks rather similar in its head to the ones from the VOXs.

About the new ED, the new ED is enticing on 2 fronts. The first one in the spoiler
represents Yurikano during her phases alone most likely starting at the desolated waste for some time. The words of the song clearly show a part of her feelings. Anyone noticed the NISSAN reference there? Guess a strong supporter of this show still.

For 2 the planet in the spoiler
shows of perhaps an enticing promise that twirl of the flowers being opposite to the red destruction is a solution. Still comes back how to make them so? Naturally Red = destruction all the time and Green = Life. That much can be clear and interesting. I for one am quite surprised she survived along with not being a clone at all cause that means there are now 2 Memoria people for Aura and perhaps Yurikano's other persona is the one that has it.

About the preview, the list says it all.
  • I will so look forward to the fan service in the spoiler
oh dear delicious Muginami breasts there.

  • Madoka looks kind of down in the spoiler
wonder why is that and what she is thinking there.

  • Looks scary to the see the RED SHIT in the spoiler
it smells like big trouble and I hope the infestation will get stopped by Madoka/Yurikano combo. Else the whole fleet might blowout under the powers of that blast.

  • Finally SLAP SESSION TIME! In the spoiler
I suspect this is the part that will be the attempt to stop it all.
That being said next episode looks much more and I hope the flow along with BGM goes nice like it did with this episode.

In conclusion it’s a safe shout to say GOODBYE EARTH AND HELLO LE GARITE. In both environment in terms of spaceship and the planet itself most likely. We are in for a total change of place and setup along with perhaps new characters to be added soon enough. Might edit later.

BTW End Art in the spoiler
WOW! Nice swimsuit one with a nice art touch up.

I don't really see why she had to love him before based on what we know. He found her near death, she didn't remember anything, he saved her and took care of her. It's not like she came to him because she wanted. He found her. And I also don't see a single reason for her not to like him now. She could have hated him before but she lost those memories and now he's her only family she knows of. Of course, it's possible that she did love him before, maybe that's why he found her but just based on what we saw we can't know for sure if she likes him because she liked him before or simply because he took her in.

Aside from that, my theory about Vox devouring part of Yurikano's consciousness might be correct since she doesn't have her memories and she turned back into a kid nature wise (although that could be simply due to loss of memories). That also explains her other self in Vox and why she's dropping red Rinne flowers. About the ending planet (green stuff flying around), I think that shows Madoka will somehow activate Vox's "good" powers. It's green what's her colour. It's also interesting that Yurikano dropped red flower, that might prove that Yurikano's Vox colour is red what means that what we saw last episode might have been just her intervening not power of the Vox.

The point was that she felt in love as much as Muginami did when Villagulio saved her despite her saving him first Muginami by the fact she was saved through him came to love him. What is not to say the same might be of Yurikano?

I am not sure of that. More needs to be revealed. That cannot be known yet.

We certainly know she is grateful for him in saving her from loneliness at the very least and the ED song clearly hints that a lot IMO.

In terms of her making a deal with the Vox? I am not sure of this at all. I believe she last her memories due to her sealing them herself in which my theorem supports split personality.

I think so too but the red flower is her other persona that does it and I don't think both are aware of each other TBH.

No, it was the power of the Vox 100% Yurikano no matter what persona would not either way have a power effect on the Vox as in making it release or intervene in power output. IMO the power really was from the Vox, what she did was interrupt mentally Madoka to stop the process and somehow it worked. Most likely due to her past experience in knowing exactly what to do.

While I'm not taking back anything I've said about Creepy Smiley Guy previously...
He does have his good points.
No one is all black or white, we're all shades of grey.
And, he's very pragmatic.
What is, is.
Once something has occurred, no use crying over spilt milk, eh?
If you are dealing with someone who will not change their course once set, don't waste your time trying.
Apply force only where it might impact things in your favour.
Be prepared to take advantage of chance events.
More important, allow for the possibility of chance events; nothing ever goes completely as planned, after all.
This enables him to be maximally effective.

He had some good lines in this episode.

And, his constant smiling might actually be a result of his pragmatism; if you don't let things outside your control stress you out, presenting a smiling continence to the world may not prove difficult.
Doesn't change that it's a creepy smile, though.

He didn't answer the question regarding Yuriyuri getting loose being something he arranged, did he?

He's not just Lan's older brother's tool, he has true volition; he has his own vision of the best possible resolution based upon his current understanding of the situation, and it may not always match that of Stuffy King Dude.

It's possible there won't _be_ a 'true' antagonist.
Life is like that, after all.

Even "Dark" Yurikano might prove a positive part of the resolution, if they can figure out how to work with her.

I'm guessing the reason why Yuriyuri has no memories is... "Dark" Yurikano has all of them.
While her body returned from that place, her persona stayed.
That's why she doesn't want anyone else there; she's already sacrificed herself.
It's just no one realizes that, and no one has a clue what her plans are, or how to work with her.
If they can figure out how to open a channel of communication with her without opening that gateway, there's a possibility she may be able to control the Vox power to resolve the problem.
