Who is your favorite character?
| its been 10 volumes so far and i think its time for a poll on who your favorite character is. Also if you can, tell me your top 5/10 characters, im interested to see which characters are more favored :D if there are any characters which you like and feel that they should be on the list, don't hesitate to to tell me :) EDIT: interesting, asuna and kirito are dominating the polls, no surprises there <_< seeing as how kirito is a cool main and asuna is awesome for me it would be 1.kirito- mainly because of the reasons infinite destiny said, he is a badass character and isn't like other typical wimpy male leads who are indecisive 2.Sinon- i just love her character, *open only if you have read vol.5+6* 3. Asuna- reasons similar to sinon really, *open on if you have finished vol.1* 4. Lyfa- i like her character, *open only if you have read vol 3+4* i haven't decide who i will have as the rest of my list of 10 but i these are my top 4 characters that will definitely stay there also seeing as how kirito was already dominating the poles i voted for sinon, my second |

| Well since only one can be chosen the choice becomes really easy (at least for me) since Kirito makes a lot of SAO, he isn't like those wimpy insecure MC who need the supporting cast to carry them, he carries himself and others while dealing with his burdens of guilt, one of the better characters I've ever seen, one can only hope the anime shows his character well As for my top 5, in order it would likely look like this 1.Kirito 2.Sinon 3.Yuuki 4.Asuna 5.Lisbeth Now as for why Asuna isn't higher on my list, is because while she is a great character and fits Kirito very well she gets overshadowed badly, even in Mothers Rosario where Kirito was barely shown she is overshadowed by Yuuki, also in ALO....well we all know what happened in ALO (granted not her fault but it didn't help her development at all), so hopefully she is developed more since in terms of development between the two mains (Kirito,Asuna) it's not even close |

| Now that I think about my favorites, I was quite surprised how it turned out. I'm going to put up my top 10 since some can already predict the first 5 (does not mean its true). 1. Asuna Yuuki 2. Argo 3. Kirito 4. Yui 5. Kayaba/Heathcliff 6. Shino/Sinonon *shot* 7. Yuuki/Zekken 8. Egil 9. Koujiro, Rinko (Kayaba's assistant) 10. Cline @Infinity From just looking at Vol. 10 illustration, it seems that Asuna play a role in UW (though if it effect more than ALO not sure) so we might get to see a big charater development about her (with and without Kirito). |

| Kirito all the way. Never have I seen an anime character more modeled after my own soul. He reacts to situations almost exactly like I would, and we share quite a few of the same preferences. Also, we have many of the same living arrangements. It's awesome. |

| Kirito still seems at the top..if Yuuki didn't die...why introduce another OP'ed character and kill her quickly...? plus kirito didn't even had the chance to win against her..no rematch... even though this is immature i'm a little disappointed in Kirito due to this fact..but still... 1. | 1 Klein (funny loyal tough looking but actually a sweety kind of guy. He needs more screen time) 2 Sinon (best girl in the anime I have seen so far. For me anyway. She is interesting, has her own story going on and not completely kirito obsessed it seems.) 3 Kirito (for all the reasons mentiond earlyer, however he is and never will be number 1 for one simple reason. He is a bit gary stue like. He is to overpowerd and perfect to the point it's unbelievable. Considering the type of anime he is in (and manga/novel/game?) thats saying something. Make him a BIT more realistic and less overkill, but keep the personality and he would be much more loved by me.) 4 Asuna (But only in the first half of sao s1. I didn't like what happend to her character after that) 5 Yui (needs more to do, but she is cute and I like her. The fact she is able to be completely bad ass as is shown in SAO first half s1 gave her extra points.) Leafa? I'm not adding her. I would have liked her more I think if it wasn't for the akward story around her/lack of good plot around her. Sao in bad in one thing, devolping characters that are not kirito for longer then half a season. There are not nearly enough interesting guys, and the girls who could be interesting get way to little screen time for me to really form an opinion on them or even remember their names (enter pink girl and small brunette with dragon pet). Klein doesn't get much either, but the fact I loved him the moment he started talking makes me a bit biased. Some characters you just instandly love, others you need to follow more before you can. Usualy I'm more of the ''follow characters a while first' type which is not a strong point of SAO. Ergo the only characters I could pick between where the main characters of every season half and Kirito, and the auto loved character Klein. I read there is a s3 comming, and I have a feeling a character from that season would get in the top 5. However as of yet they are not counted so I don't include them. |
