Pretty much going like i predicted, too bad Dizelmine won't be made into the worst kind of guy because he's acually protecting his planet. He's still an ass. Giviguvio on the other hand suddenly become very likeable, not that i'm complaining about it.
I look forward to some kind of method pulled out of creator's asses to prevent both planetes from being destroyed. Only thig that bugs me now is what happened 20,000 years ago, it's probably got something to do with Di Metrio's prncess who looked awfully like Madoka. Too bad manga is very slow so it'll probably get explained in the anime first.

Loved how simpleton Madoka made Lan and Muginami "get along", her simplicity is silly but also charming in it's own way. And dem yuri kisses. <3

Again, I wouldn't disparage Madoka's intelligence. Sure, she doesn't usually think things through. Her personality is to make a decision based on how she feels about the situation, and since she's usually very much in touch with herself she is usually able to make reasonable decisions without to much, if any, thought. But she has often demonstrated the ability learn new things easily and she usually understands what is going on around her. Seems to me she's like most people in that regard. There is a huge difference between her and, say, somebody like Tomo of Azumanga Daioh. She just does, not considers.

FWIW I'm not really into yuri... no seriously, I'm one of the probably 3 or 4 men who don't find lesbian porn a turn-on.

However I am... how could I put it... a bit of a sexual anarchist. I get warm fuzzies from stories where people can explore whatever feelings they have, in whatever combination. Heck, I was originally disappointed at Frontier ending without resolving the triangle, but then I decided that was a permission for me to decide in my “head canon” they ended up all three together. (Faans cemented its place as one of my ever-fave webcomics by

So basically, I'm happy for them, that's what; especially after all the setup in s1. And I like it even more to think of all three in a poly relationship rather than a triangle where some sort of decision has to be made.

What interested me the most about Le Garite's solar system is the distance the planet needs to have from the star seems blue stars are extremely hot this means the distance for Le Garite to have similar temperatures to that of our planet should be allot further from the star then where are from the sun.
Le Garite should have a distance similar the Jupiter from it's sun if not further.

yeah, I'm not up on the specifics, but for "life as we know it" the habitable zone is very narrow and gets considerably far out for stars hotter than our own.

(one note, our star is often described as a "average" star, but it's actually a fairly large and bright main sequence star, possibly brighter than the majority of stars in our galaxy.)
Are technology is improving greatly and with that the things we learn about space also increases.
The number of Telescopes and types of telescopes increased as well so we can investigate a much larger area then we could 40 years ago.

It was also mentioned that Yurikano destroyed a satellite tho it was not mentioned of which planet.
But this should have effect on the climate of the planet i mean if the moon isn't around anymore there won't be any tides either.
Which should have great effects on out climate which should also would have happened to the planet that got it's satellite destroyed by Yurikano.
There would have been a shower of debris crashing on that planet as well.
Maybe this was the thing she regretted.

It wouldn't have had to have been a satellite of an inhabited planet, and probably not even one within an inhabited system. As space fairing beings, and assuming most systems don't contain anything worth living on, they could easily have done their experiments in some dump solar system, which is what I assumed they did. Remember the attack on their research station in the first episode, Lan's brother made the comment "they've found us" and abandoned the research station. Based on Real Life just on what we've been able to spot so far looking for systems with planets it is starting to look like every tom, dick and harry star of any size has "planets" around it.
I know it's just that a saw a image of her somewhere surrounded by rubble and her face was telling what have i done.
Hence my theory i believe her three students also said something similar.

Madoka was on fire this ep. Couldn't stop laughing when she flew right past them, swam to shore as well as calling Vila to see if Muginami had returned. Bless her simple mindedness.

As a MadoLan shipper, their kiss was the one that pleased me most. Although, if you ask me, I would prefer to have them kiss in a more sincere way, coming from genuine feelings. But since it's there, I'll simply enjoy what I could take from that part.

I haven't given up hope that there will be a sincere show of affection between the two somewhere down the line. Well the recent happenings have seemed to have poured fuel on that fire.

I laughed so hard during that kissing scene in the club room.

It's ridiculous how easily some issues are solved but that's Rinne for you, I enjoy it.

Anyway back to the topic:-

It's funny that Season 1 was ended with no clear conclusion to the war between Vilagulio & Dizelmine.

Hope season 2 which it's currently aired should told us why because the war isn't over yet....

It's because their solar systems are on a collision course dude.

Also Madoka wins this episode.

Nice episode, when I saw them kissing each other I though wtf because of this:
"Director Sato Tatsuo Eliminates Romance From Moretsu Pirates and Lagrange"
I thought Yuri and stuff like this would've been 'eliminated' too.
I'm looking forward to more.

This is just too damn predictable. I'm only watching because I'm determined to see things through now; the animation is good, so it'll get me through somehow.

I just wish it less cutesy stuff and more focused on the war/fighting and the effects of that on the girls. I'm still wondering how Madoka, a perfectly normal high school girl in the begginning, could just jump into a robot and start fighting, i.e. killing the pilots of the enemy Ovids without any psychological trauma whatsoever. Surely she is smart enough to realize that she's killed people? No? Apparently not.

This is not going to happen. The series is all about Jersey Club Spirit and yuri bonding, and I watched it for that.
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

So I've figured. It's just too bad, because this really had potential to delve into the girls' psyches!

But when high school girls start killing people, I usually expect some sort of reaction from their side no matter the theme of the anime :/

As an ardent fan of Tatsuo, I am placing full responsibility to him for this train wreck. The only proper reaction to seeing the script should be 'who the hell wrote this drivel?'

After 'we will not forget the jersey club spirit' we find the two girls fighting to the death, while secretly thinking 'Waah, why do I have to fight Lan/Muginami?' That, after having decided on their own accord to will help their respective oniisans in their noble quest for genocide, in the meantime taking part in deadly skirmishes against each other's forces. On top of that, Lan somehow thinks Muginami is out to kill Madoka for some reason, Muginami that Lan is weaving a sinister web of conspiracies with Madoka at the center (roohoohoohoo). So fight to the death it is. But wait! Madoka uses Yuri kiss, which for some reason is super effective and not only dissolves the conflict, it also fixes the misunderstandings (??)! And thus the episode concludes with the three reunited and ready to face the challenge for peace!

Who the hell wrote this drivel?

I laughed when Madoka made Lan an Muginami kiss and make up.

The ED song was different... and I don't recall the Lan stripping part being in the previous episode's ED...

This season and especially this episode of Lagrange most definitely made good use of unexpected comedy relief and tension breakers. Not to mention raising the bar on the romance side of things.

Lan said something about La Garite using Madoka by force. I wonder if that's what the experiments are for.

Finally, the reason for the conflict between the two polities.

And, yes, knowing that the two planets will collide in mutual destruction due to their orbits does seem like sufficient justification for undertaking any measures you can, no matter how personally repugnant, to somehow save your people from this fate.
Up until that bit of info surfaced, I thought Lan's brother was a heartless monster.
Now, he's someone grasping at any possible straw to save his people, and if he has to sacrifice his sister to do so... he'll deal with how he feels about that after his people are safe.

Mind, the premise is impossible.
Stellar planetary dynamics just don't work that way.
Not within a stellar system.
Now, if they were distinct stellar systems that just happened to be moving such that they traveled through each other, then yes, there would be the possibility of a collision between a planet from stellar entity A and stellar entity B.
But they'd be doomed no matter what, even if they didn't collide, if two stellar systems actually passed through each other.

Also... when they first arrived in that system, prior to actually beginning settlement, any reasonable planetary survey should have revealed that the orbits would eventually intersect.
Which makes it bogus for yet another reason.

Unless you want to argue that when they arrived they didn't have the capability to continue on to other stellar systems with habitable planets, and had no choice but to settle there.
Even then, it's clear they've had space travel for quite some time, even if they'd had to rebuild a tech base prior to resuming it, so there's no excuse for not moving their populations elsewhere in that interval.
Well... except that we sure as hell aren't doing any better in regard to preparing for disasters that anyone who will open their eyes can see coming, with the exhaustion of various resources.
Not dealing with things until no options are left is a far too human thing to do, after all.

But, as a concept to hang a plot from, bogus as it is, it'll do for now.

My guess is that Asteria's hoping that the Vox energies, properly harnessed, will allow them to permanently adjust the orbits such that a collision will not occur, nor will they get close enough to each other for tidal forces, etc., to cause damage.

Actually shifting one of the planets to another stellar system entirely would be too much to ask, even of a deus ex machina.

Should be interesting to see how things develop.

In regard to the Yuri shippers: Clearly, Madoka x Lan x Muginami; although it may have more of a Madoka x Lan + Madoka x Muginami feel in some ways.
