I was really confused at the end. Then I watched the OVA and everything made sense. The OVA clears pretty much everything up. I don't see why there would be a season 2.

we don't need a season 2 but all we want to happen as i realized is just to have 3 more episodes of it also Yuki is a God why not let him go back to the human dimension, and live happily with Yuno. Seriously while i was watching it i wanted that to happen very much but while i saw it i just saw that everybody was alive but Yuki wasn't with them also i saw Yuno coming to his dimension telling him they made a promise one day that they will see the stars together and then it ended so you must make something like 3 new episodes ending like this is happy but says things that we haven't seen so please just 3 new episodes with a new ending of Yuki and Yuno in the human dimension living their lives happily i have seen the ova thats why i say it needs 1-2-3 episodes more the first one for a fun day the second one for their memories and the third one for the promise they made so there will be a happy ending

There may not be a season 2 in the future. Even though the show leaves it's end on a cliff hanger it doesn't end like there is another episode available explaining everything that happens after Yunno becomes God. It's called Future Diary Redial.

There is an OVA and it explains it all. It is actually a really good ending. I would have been so pissed if the main anime ending is what they left it at

It's possible. After the OVA, there could be something wrong with the third world and perhaps season 2 would document such happenings, say maybe the diary users regain their memories or something. Also, it is possible that the first world Yuno did not actually die but pretended to do so so Yukiteru could become a god. Minene had half a god's powers (and Deus actually was quite weak so half of his powers would not amount to much) but she could survive a bomb blast. Also, MuruMuru is shown to be able to heal someone when she did so to the third world Yuno's father, so the first world Yuno could just have healed hersef after dissapearing. And she was a God of space in addition to time, so she probably could have done the spiralling warping effect while staying alive within it, then simply healing herself after retreating to somewhere else.
In that case, maybe Mirai Nikki season 2 could focus about the first world Yuno battling the Third World Yuno, and it could involve the other diary owners recovering their second world memories when MuruMuru broadcasted first world Yuno's memories which could have included their involvement in the first season. Like maybe they also get back some memories when they go near the MuruMuru keychain that was used to give some of first world Yuno's memories to the third world Yuno.
Or maybe they are already doing something like this, the Yuno battling another Yuno in the opening sequence would make excellent foreshdowing for a season 2 that follows such a plot. If that is the case, then this may mean that there will be a season 2 soon.
Although, I am posting in 2018 which is quite a bit later than the original release of Mirai Nikki. I hope the creators of Mirai Nikki see this though if they aren't working on it, because I'm pretty sure a lot of people want a season 2 f Mirai Nikki and it would be great if someone could make an official season 2 of Mirai Nikki.

Also, the OVA I am referring to is the Redial OVA ,not Moisac or Paradox. Redial is available only in English sub and on Manga forms, so those who have only watched the English dub of Mirai Nikki could have missed it.
