| A) This was the best freaking episode since, well, evah! B) Finally some Shikamaru, and NO dumb Naruto or any of his actions. :D C) next episode is just 20 minutes for a "few " last words i presume... Great episode, they really must call ik Shikamaru shippuuden xD |

| Well... they are starting to turn the shippuuden into a real quality anime... I mean it was good and all up till now, but now it is becoming awesome... At long last they are making it realistic... it might make a k+ep anime in no time (o_O?) maybe in about 20 years ^^ You see, I've seen people complain about Naruto being worse than D.Gray... now it's coming up... Oh, and sorry for not having the text well made... my mind is still under affect of the 3-hours-only sleep... ˇ.ˇ |

| Definitely a lot better than the average episode. No annoying naruto being annoying like the annoying little bugger he is half the time (even though the show is his xD), and the fight actually wasn't bad / didn't take 10 episodes for somethin to happen, though the whole thing where he has to be in the circle for his curse to work was WAY obvious from the beginning. |

| There shouldn't be a filler arc for a while. There is a bit of manga to go throught before they start getting close right now. Everything in this show for the next couple of months is going to be freakin' amazing beyong belief. For those people wondering why Kurenai isn't doing anything.....it will be axplained in the next episode.....and it will only make Asuma's death even more amazing (from a plot point of view). |

| Great episode. There was a good balance of action and explanation. Plus there was plenty of Shikamaru, which is always good. I think the only bad thing about the episode was Hidan's irritating high pitch squawking laughing! |

Can't you see that? Shikamaru and Asuma: They don't know the real situation is. They're just analyzing the opponent first. UNless they battled against known Akatsuki members, they would've known how to deal with it. BUT THEY DON'T KNOW! Understand it, ok? If you are there, and YOUR LIFE and YOUR COMRADE'S LIFE is on the line, you're thinking how to deal and counter with it; and SOMEHOW, the opponent NEVER DIES and even when he is beheaded, he still speak. If you're just OK with it, and not shocked, you're crazy. Think about being in their shoes guys. Don't just bash that a character is useless unless they really didn't contribute something. For me, Kakuzu would be the only useless person in that arc (in the beginning); he just stands there without doing anything and not helping Hidan. That's what you call being USELESS. If ever Kakuzu is useful, he would just go attack the 3 chuunin and kill all of them. They would be annihilated in just a second. |

| I really loved this special~ Shikamaru's flashbacks helped him quite a lot throughout the first half and his ability to reason and find out Hidan's weakness while using his techinique was really good! Lol, Hidan's talking head was funny - too bad Kakuzu re-attached it. Kotetsu and Izumo had cool techniques - too bad they didn't work. It was so sad to see Asuma die! Poor Shikamaru who had to witness it and moreover - Kurenai who knows something is wrong.... Next episode looks sad - I hope Hidan dies :) |

| Wonderful, but sad ending. The abilities of the Akatsuki is getting way to farfetched now. We know they're supposed to be the next biggest threat in the series, but come on I'm tired of the bullshit they keep pulling. Still alive when beheaded? Absolutely ridiculous. |
| @Mitsukai- Oh so true. It just bothers me that the 2 other guys didn't think to get rid of that marking on the ground after Shikamaru got him out. It's just sad that such a good character has to die because of 2 idiots. *sigh* |
