Get the hell out of her way. You will get steamrolled.

But yeah, that was a cool first episode.

In a josei series about a workaholic woman, it's kind of interesting that she has a boyfriend but just never has time to see him. More usually she'd be single and angsty about it. Furthermore, he doesn't seem bothered by how much she works (and has similar habits himself).

I know this is the whole point but why does she have to "turn into a man" in order to get more work done?
All of a sudden she's not tired, hungry, etc. because she's a workaholic man...okay.
Why can't she stay as a workaholic woman (because that's what she is) and what's so wrong about that?

Yeah it bothers me that they're implying that a woman can only accomplish so much but never as much as a man.
*le sigh*

same, I think that 'switch mode' is completely unnecessary and the whole concept of it is quite ridiculous
but other than that, I like her character. 'I want to die having accomplished something' is a nice way to put it. I wish her work would be something different and thus... a bit more interesting/exciting

the concept of "working man" is sexist and quite stupid tbh.

Good start. My first impression after the first episode is really good. I hope it will remain so.

My only issue is that nobody accompanied Hiroko to her home after the threat.
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Enjoyed this episode a lot and the "Hataraki mode" cracked me up.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

This is actually a cool episode. I kind of like the MC since she's not a typical damsel in distress MC lol but the Hatraki Man mode is quite funny xD

I was always looking at the clock at the wall of the office when it appeared, because I am kinda interested in the timetables of Japanese office workers. It seemed to be stuck at some minutes to 2 though. But apparently, the events took place at various times, because the sky color was not always the same.

That workaholic Matsukata is kinda interesting so far, that's so much determination thanks to the "Hataraki mode" xD both OP and ED are great

The whole hataraki mode thing is sooooo sexist and offensive. Which is a shame since this premiere episode had a lot going for it. But if this show is just going to belittle and infuriate me constantly it won't be fun to watch. What a shame.

Alright start, I didn't exactly get what was going on with her job and the other guy writing articles but I liked the personal drama. Good OP/ED
