| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- One more game for Predators (that they win. That way, they won what I believe it's was a "regional" tournament to qualify for the main tournament)... and Reika is injured, making Shou feel bad about it - in a "focus-alike" already explored in episode 10 - only to be encouraged (again) by the triplets Next episode: at the same there's a barbecue to celebrate to win, focus on the three "U" players - Katsura Uchimura, Taro Uematsu and Yuto Ukishima |
| About the next episode: knowing that the "U" players are also studying for the exams period (on the preview, they go to the library), makes me feel there's an uncertainty whether they'll continue with the team or not One thing still makes me confused: the Predators team, as seen on OP, with Takuma (although he's still on the team that won the previous tournament season) and Sugimiya (although he's still on basketball as Takuma said) and also with Reika becoming thin (I really wonder how the producers of the series will play this one in context) isn't yet a reality. I wonder how all of that will happen with only 39 episodes (if confirmed that it's the number of episodes, we're almost on the end of the first half of the episodes) as seen on the OP |

| Well, I thought it was obvious that they weren't really meant to be on the team. The blondie and two others will probably join later on. I want to see thin Reika. o.o I laughed when Kota (hit me if I'm wrong D:) smacked Shou. Shou really is simple, like his little sister said. |
| Well, that was the first episode, I really didn't like. The just repeated things here. Reika's mother being annoying and Shou losing his self-assurance were already there a few episodes ago. That didn't have to happen again. |

| Yeah, the episode was a bit bad because they repeated things. I hoped that Reika will convince her mother to stop worrying that much in this episode, but I guess they'll get back to it again. |

| As others have said, it felt very repetitive and honestly, I wish they'd stop focusing so much on Reirika, her voice annoys me to no end, as does her mother. |
| We can finally move past this own goal nonsense. This is a non-issue. The Furuya are within the rules. This anime should learn a thing or two from Captain Tsubasa, like Meiwa's Sliding Butai (basically, sliding tackles that target every part of the body). Now that's some hardcore soccer. |
| Dang, Predators demolished early in the episdoe. 15-2 I believe. Surprised the ref didn't end the match on the spot since some little league sports have some type of mercy rule. Reika's mother was a bit annoying. She can't blame everything on Shou. Reika had to cover her spot, she made a mistake, ok it's her's not Shou's. That play where both Reika/Shou went for the ball was more on Shou's fault. Since he's captain he should have gone for the ball and told Reika to fall behind him. |

| Tch, good episode but another meh drama with Shou. The first one, I can somewhat understand, but he totally overthink with this drama, and got depressed on his own for no reason at all. Good lord how can a captain constantly being cheered up by his teammates, yet he hasn't done any cheering up himself. I just gotta question his drive to play in a ball game and his drive to actually win game if little things like this is gonna bother him enough to completely take him out of the game. His lack of focus in game is disturbing in regards to how it doesn't fit his character profile. Ginga e Kickoff has done a great job at making the ball game fun to watch, but as to actual character development and relationships, let's just say that there are areas for improvement. I don't want to excuse any anime just because "it's for kids". |
