I haven't seen that much sparkles in an anime in my life. I was almost blinded by all the bright colors and randomly appearing stars and sparkles Gawd ◕_◕ Nevertheless it was a typical cute shoujo middle school romance story with the generic cute main female lead falling in love with the popular good looking male lead. The art was abit weird but in a cute way and has the typical cute-blush-you-look-cuter-with-hair-tied-back romance moments. oh forgot to mention it was cute. |

I like the strength of their relationship. Really strong sense of love between the two. Sadly I have a major problem with the art. 6/10. |

the amount of sparkles was nauseating. i love shoujo. but i have to be in a good mood to stomach the weak, typical shoujo stories like these. sadly, i wasn't in a good mood. i detested all the cliches. the ova made everything worse since it looked so cheap, and i have major issues with the art. the girl also had a really high-pitched annoying voice that emphasizes how weak she is. sorry about the rant. but it's stories like these that give shoujo a bad name. |

I thought it was pretty cute even though it went fast due to being only one episode. silvermoon8573 said: the girl also had a really high-pitched annoying voice that emphasizes how weak she is. I love Hanazawa Kana's voice so I didn't mind. |

I just like it. Hanazawa Kana got nothing to do with it. |

that was truly painful to get through - i love a good romance (much more than most guys), but this was just excruciatingly dull - total lack of conflict, romantic rivals, interesting details, etc. about the only thing good about it was the fair to middling art (the animation, however, was below average)............. |

Nothing fantastic, just a cute little love story. Only problem was it didn't have enough sparkles and the characters' eyes were too small. |

This is so overwhemingly cute in every regard. So many sparkles, these pastel colours, and everything else. I think it would do greatly as a TV series. |

Way to many sparkles. Also, didn't really like the art style. 6/10. |

I don't know if the burning sensation in my eyes is coming from the sparkles or.. oh no.. It's just the tears of happiness. Jk. It was very sparkly but entertaining enough to pass time. I liked it enough, very sweet. They even threw in a dash of conflict here and there. (Literally twice.) Lol. 7/10? It was like KimiNT without the awesome that is Sawako. |

I really liked it even though there were so many sparkles :) I liked the seiyuu's and the art was nice too, a little childish but fitting for the ova I guess ^^ 8/10 because it was so cute :) |

Damn it, it was perfect ♥ Murata Mayu-sensei didn't fail me. Her art and style was as gorgeous as it was in her manga. Even the chibi forms and sparkles and everything were the same and as cute ~ At first I thought it was too bad that they didn't follow the manga and they only showed some scenes from it but it was still pretty satisfying because they added a lot of new ones! But I agree. It was too short! They should've done it with ~24 mins. or so then they could've shown the part how Risa and Yuugure got together and the viewers would know rather than wondering how it magically happened. Anyway, it was good overall! I had my doubts about the animation at first but there was nothing to worry about after all. It was a successful adaptation. |

I think they should just have told us how they got together... It's actually my favourite part of the manga. It was very nice, but too perfect. No problems, no struggle. They got together, we don't know why, and that's all. I am disappointed. |

And a misdirected soccer ball begins it all. A bit too rushed though..I mean the main girl and guy are already going out? L Kana plays her role quite well imo this episode being the main female protagonist. Typical shoujo OVA though and that kiss at the last moment was bittersweet. |

I think I read the manga before but I'm not sure...It feels so dejavu since it's so cliche and predictable but i'unno. 6/10 is my final score for this OVA. Animation and art are adorable. Props to that. I don't necessarily love huge shoujo eyes but it was alright for this series. Let me just comment on the colours. I LOVED the colours. They were the perfect amount of brightness needed for this show. However, please, lose those sparkles. They only work in manga, not animation. Story was the bad part. Pretty cliche, boring and too perfect. We didn't see much of their characters. We know that Risa was beautiful, inexperienced and bashful. Yuugure is nothing too special. He's cute the most and he's also inexperienced apparently. Their relationship is too flat and superficial. We don't really see why they're in love with each other. mijuku-nii said: This is so overwhemingly cute in every regard. So many sparkles, these pastel colours, and everything else. I think it would do greatly as a TV series. Yes, just like some other Shoujo manga adaption ovas like Hiyokoi, Good Morning Call and Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu. By itself, it's not much though. |

I like shoujos and this was cute but I dunno some things about this irked me: >What's with the sparkles lol >They started dating and they practically only knew 1. what the other party looked like 2. Their names and 3. What class they were in. Well it's a shoujo so I guess it's not that weird >She randomly confesses she's helplessly in love when I think they haven't even known each other for a week: Dude is this Romeo and Juliet >They kiss and they haven't even had a proper date yet like what |

All the fucking predictable shoujo shit you've seen in your life packed into 18 minutes. There should be an award for putting this much cliche crap in one episode. This sickens me. |

Too much shoujo cliche. |

The problem for me is not the cliches, but how they're executed @_@ It's basically taking two characters (with not much characterization), and putting them into cute romantic situations. They started dating too abruptly without us seeing how and why. The most important part was taking away to fit it in more cute situations, but that only had a negative effect. As for other things, the voice acting is nice and the art is just ok. |

Pretty boring. At least they started going out right away instead of taking 100 episodes to do so, so that alone makes this more original than a lot of shoujo romance anime/manga. Then again, this also had an "overhearing other girls' jealous conversation" scene and an attempted rape scene, so perhaps it isn't more original. 5/10 |

Omg. HanaKana high-pitched voices really hilarious to heard. I even can't stop myself for laughing the whole Risa-chan when she was talking, seriously. Still, the plot somehow bored like in hell. Its cliche of course. The duration kinda too fast to be following up. That some important matter like the confession part was also gone, like was that cutted? Such a shame, that part must be good and cute. But, nope. The story kept binging, and never had a chance to break. The only sweet moment where Risa thinking about her lover, then had an embarassing act while hold a phone. Its awkwardly amusing to watch, as expected, a great voice acting by HanaKana closed the awkwardity. And, obviously that sparkly kissed in the end. Only that i noticed, unfortunately passed the chance to bring more sparkle moment for both of them. Welp, as a short show, i must consist all the weakest part was an undeniable situations. By the most of the Shoujo genre, this show had some unique attempt, like that bright shine and too much sparkle as a progression. And ofc plussing point by HanaKana intercept my bad scores! With that all concluded, this show had a nice justification for me. Its a 8/10. Its too generous for me, i know. But, its okay, in the name of my girl, HanaKana. |

GIRL YOU ALMOST DIED. but yeah lets make that the moment she fell in love🥳🥳 but anyways this was reaaally cute tho, basic shoujo plot and characters but i like how there wasn't a lot of complications in it. he's her first love and she's his first too. no childhood friend who can get the other party jealous, no ex, doesn't seem like ml has a sad sob story too its just them dating and being cute, though there were a Lot of sparkles and i mean a LOT LMAO. im considering reading the manga :D |
