| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Walllens's voice (Kenji Nojima) is only thing I enjoy. Though it seems like there's dark force coming. Wait, Goku's seiyuu voiced grandma?? OP was ok and ED was rocky for a group who just debut. And Hikasa-san is not part of the group, but just narration to the anime. (I did feel that it's a kids' show, but it airs on Saturdays 11:30PM Japan time) |

| Somehow, I kinda liked the first episode (animation might be not be its biggest attribute, but at least it's quite original)... but I'm looking forward to see the next episode (when Pollon, the dreamer hunter (with pretensions of becoming a hero), comes into the mix. Voiced by the same person who voiced Syaoran in "Cardcaptor Sakura") ;) |

| Don't really like the chibi style, but this was still a nice first episode. At least it's different from the whole moe/fanservice series that plague this season (and remaining ones). |

 Apart from the Princess wanting to be a hunter thing, the anime is really just really standard fantasy adventure though for a younger audience. Feels like one of those cartoons that would air in the morning right before school starts. Even more the enemies when defeated seem to just vanish... Main character, the princess, is not really interesting, but I guess Ill stick and watch considering Wallens (above) is actually pretty cool and I bet most likely a hunter, and the other two people who may join up. Actually he's hilarious how he avoids anything about it. The OP is not that good, but I loved the Ending even if it feature like ten seconds of them just running, something about the song sounds really nice and its kind of stylish. |

Anyway, pretty bad so far. Wallens seems like a cool guy though. |

| If one looks for meaning of life here (or any other cartoon) that this show may be disappointing but it's show for kids - so it has to be entertaining, colorfull and cute and this one is :) kind of to be expected from Toei so it's a must watch for me - bit older but enjoying pure entertainment |

| Oh fck! I will watch this till the end even if it goes up to 100+ episode XD Its art work and plot is amazing.. A princess wanting to be a hunter? not a prince? not so common =D and cute.. and didn't expect that battle to be that awesome haha.. Funny how the princess was jumping too high and falling like a cotton ball on the ground and not having injuries.. Those people who are disappointed, I suggest to look up the characters and sypnosis of the anime first before watching.. or even try to appreciate Toei for making an anime adaptation of a "mobile game" of Gree.. As far as I can tell, Ragnarok anime didn't get alot of praises as well but I liked it.. I dunno why but I appreciate them for making it. I like the Driland card game tho haha it's cool and fascinating.. |

| Once I recovered from the shock of another series using the word Hunter, I realized I had to get used to the goofy chibi-like character design of this show lol... Probably the least promising series from the season I've seen so far, but I'm hoping it will suprise me. |

| It's surprisingly funny to watch. I liked this cute graphics with bright colors. Also main heroine is very likeable (though a bit stupid, but it's ok)) - curious and brave. Will watch it if it wouldn't become boring. ...maybe I just miss that classic and simply fantasy in anime? ) |
| I expected this to be utter garbage. It wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. It's decent. I especially liked how they were thinking logically: "Why can you fight so well?", "Actually, I've been training", "And where am I supposed to run to?". |

I totally agree with all of the above I quoted. It also reminds me of the animes I watched when I was a kid (Which I still love; even though I'm not overly religious)- called "Superbook" and "Flying House". It has the same feel even though those were religious animes for kids. I get annoyed with all of the eechi all year long. I was happy with last season because that was the least amount of eechi I've seen in one season in a long time. I don't have anything against it. But as a straight girl it tends to get annoying when they constantly cater to guys ecchi fantasies. I was thrilled last season because it wasn't over-running the shows I watched and I enjoyed most of the ones I saw. aside from the chbbi animation this anime seems fun/perfect/delightful/adorable and so far I'm loving it. I hope it runs for a while. I don't care what anyone else says about it. Also, I would have thought it was obvious that it would be a kids show from the art work I was seeing on the net about it >_> |

| The plot is interesting, the main heroine is kawaii. Since she is a princess there is little she is allowed to do, so she has been "secretly" training to become a hunter, or practicing. So she sets out on a journey, or just wants to explore the outer world that she lives in. She is well aware of monsters, that's why she insists on becoming better at fighting, and that there shouldn't be a age limit on when to start training. Meanwhile, something evil is coming. And the hunter, the princess friend became aware of it. To be next episode, will be introduced to another "to be" member of the princess' "hunter" group. While the animation isn't all that, the chibi is quite cute, not bad, the story is interesting, and the characters as well. Wallen may have been a hunter in the past, so we will learn about him later on, hopefully. Till next episode. :) |

| Why guys? Why are people having so negative reactions to this show? Just for having chibis? The drawings are cute, it has some nice music, the action was good too; it's very enjoyable actually. I just hope it keeps up or gets better. |
| The 1st time I saw that the characters are chibi, I dropped it. But I suddenly changed my mind and give it another chance. And it is unexpectedly interesting and enjoyable. And I really really like Wallens.. His kicking moves reminds me of Sanji of OP. Looking forward to the next episode!  |
