I am the kind of person who usually find more excitement from watching the Antagonist in pretty much anything, games, movies, series, anime, manga, you name it. Especially when it comes to the more eastern products because I tend to have a bit of a problem with the usual goodie-goodie and too damn much of a wuss protagnists.

So what I am really looking for is a anime/manga where you get to follow or at least a badass/corrupted good guy or the antagonist thoughout the anime. A good example of this and what I mean is Death Note.

Code Geass in your PTW list, that could be classified as anti-hero.

These ones are something I am not sure about:
http://myanimelist.net/anime/4725/Ga-Rei:_Zero
From what I see this is quiet a different atmosphere than Death Note, so you might not like it: http://myanimelist.net/anime/2409/Gokudou-kun_Manyuuki
Not completely anti-hero, but still a bit from what I see: http://myanimelist.net/anime/1228/Sorcerer_on_the_Rocks
http://myanimelist.net/anime/404/Bastard!!

All of these are quiet old and not of anti-hero anime are made nowadays, this is all I could find.

You should definitely watch Code Geass next. The main characters are very similar and the shows have many similar aspects.

I'm looking for the same kind of shows if anyone has any more suggestions. I generally don't like anime over 10 years old but I'll try the sorcerer one he mentioned

I second this if the OP is looking for a main character that's an anti-hero. I think what you're looking for is either an anti-hero or an anti-villain kind of main character.

Anti-villain is a villain who justifies their actions based on good intentions (like Light Yagami). Anti-hero is a hero that lacks the obvious qualities of a hero, meaning that they can be cruel/merciless like a villain.

As other said Code Geass is good.
Gokudo might be something, though it might not be what you're looking for.
Bastard! is an option as mentioned, but the anime isn't as good as the manga.
Gungrave is great.
He's a "good" thief and the anime is old but Lupin III is good.
Disgaea exists as an anime... But if you've played the games you are bound to be dissapointed.

-animeS - The plural of anime is anime. More than one deer is still deer. There is no damn "s".

Actually, a villain protagonist and an anti-villain are somewhat different, at least according to TV Tropes, which is more or less the only place that even deals with these (if you know of any scholarly/academic/critic sources, please PM me). According to that, Light would be a VP, and Suzaku [Code Geass] would be an anti-villain. Questionable, but interesting.

Aye, I'm more interested in ''Villain Protagonist'' than anti-hero. If you go by those.
But I am looking for both tbh. It doesn't really have to be THAT specific, people should understand fairly enough what I mean.

And please. I don't mind commenting on other people's suggestions or just making small talk, but try to put at least 1 anime/manga recommendation on your own if posting :)

You can try Shamo manga.

Some other things to checkout :-
* Akagi in your PTW : While not a villain, portaginis is amoral and can do anything to win including cheating.
*Lone wolf and cub : about assassin killing anyone for money (still has few good points )

Fate/Zero is still a pretty good bet then. Kotomine Kirei is actually considered the antagonist but he gets more than enough development and focus to be considered a sort of second protagonist. The series doesn't really do good guys and bad guys anyway.
