THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Just saw it and so busy in life. The interest of this episode to me were the Akira’s sister and Urabe interactions. The graveyard opened up a little more on the customs of honoring the dead during that period of Japan but more on relatives of Akira.

Things really got nice in the following,

Marriage Vow à la drool exchange as to lead to “In Forever with our do we stand together for worst or best” thingy? Sounds like it and certainly looks like in the spoiler
with all the pink effect there.

The end of the episode leads to the following,

IMO that is the best Urabe face in the entire series that is very comfortable, sexy and nice looking to watch. Has to do with how it’s setup to say the least.

That being said this last episode gave a higher fortification to Urabe x Akira relationship and more Background info on Akira himself.

I have to shortly say this series gets a 7/10->8/10 I however due to the drool want to give it 6/10. The problem is that the score would undermine the art and style of this show. Hence I leave it at 8 and hope it clears some on my view of this show. Drool was too fucked up TBH but adjustable to say the least.

What a cute series, much more than I originally expected. Now can't wait for the OVA that debuts later this year.

Ye, my body's ready or if lucky enough, a season 2 in the future. This episode finale wasn't a smash hit though tbh but sure enough had some tender moments. Anyways, not much else more to say for me. I'd say that this series is just so-so.

7/10

As I watched this series, the drool became more 2nd nature to the show. After all, the whole premise of this anime is based off that. Weird yes, but there's far more worst out there.

It was a nice last episode to wrap up the anime. I look forward to the OVA.

Sister got yodare while sleeping.

Sister meeting Urabe, and wanting her to accompany her. Oh, so she was sempai of the same highschool as them.

About love... yodare = love? (so she dreamt about her love) Oh, it was sister when highschool (in twin tail, and her boyfriend who looks like Akira from preview). Faraway love. She gave Urabe sakura mochi before leaving.

Mother's tomb sweeping, with father (first time appearing). Sakura mochi was mother's fav.

Wow, sister wanting to stay single until Akira gets job?

Urabe in intermission is cute. Akira didn't know about sister's love. Then about dead mother.

Urabe wants to see Akira's mother, so they are going on Sunday. Dating day? He got shocked at Urabe's pretty dress. She also made bacon rolls for his mother. She rarely wore the dress, but it was a rare occasion (and meeting his mother), so she wore it.

He doesn't have memory of his mother. Yodare exchange while he put his hand on his mother's tomb! At the moment she died, he cried, so Urabe felt it from his yodare and cried.

ED in another verse while talking about improper-ness, and walking away. I cannot wait for the OVA!!

I enjoyed the episode...though, what were the lines at the end of episode 12 about in the end? They had no bearing at all on this last episode...maybe the OVA/next season? *shrugs*

Anyone know how far ahead the manga is if at all? (no spoilers please ^^)

I enjoyed it. As one poster said, the drool just became 2nd nature. I look at it in a very realistic tone in a guy trying to win over his girlfriend to the next step. I found this to be a very good anime. I found much of it relating to me and that is why I enjoyed it so much. The last episode was very sweet. I really enjoyed this anime and I am hoping for a S2.

Wow. Great episode! The central relationship itself is the story in this anime, and there was a lot of development here ie. Urabe meeting Akira's family and "bolder things" in future. I liked it when Urabe smiled for the first time a few episodes back but this one is miles better as it's 100% her own smile, and not caused by Akira's thoughts.

The ending was nearly perfect, except for the notable absence of Oka, but hopefully there will be a second season. Gonna miss this anime if that's definitely the end of it :(

It's a good anime. The whole saliva thing is new.......and grotesque. I kinda expected a little more. 7/10 Good ending though.

I didn't know he had a dad. I thought he also died or something.

Overall a good series with a good ending, and now we wait for the OVA in August.

I would give it an 8/10 the art, and story are very good... the only thing is the drool. I mean after watching the whole series it has become normal, and it makes the series interesting in a WTF kind of way. The only thing is I don't see more casual people making it through those first couple episodes.

I have to say, not really much of an ending, didn't really clear up alot of things, but still, rounds up as a pretty good series as a whole, except being completely weird. Art is decent and the music is spot on. A solid 8/10 I would say.

What does moe have to do with this series?

I must admit I am confused with the expectations of people in general. Weird.

I find this anime as epic and very entertaining. I loved it simply just because. Not really mysterious to be honest but the great plot and characters just really set this anime forward for me.

this series kept me entertained the whole way through, but the ending there really calls for a season 2, it's one of those moments where their relationships "have just begun," and im definitely interested to watch more of this series to see where it goes

I wanted to drop it because of that detail. It was way too weird for me.
But I got used to it.

Greatest surprise this season. Very nice RomCom in the end - I liked that relationship and how it was shown (after all Tsubaki is just a boy and he behaves this way).
And lots of cute moments with Urabe - one of greatest positives here was her voice, I read manga but this thing made it much more enjoyable.

So from me it's 8/10 and since my wife also likes it (and she usually hates anime) what remains is to give it: 9/10

sad and romantic (and funny) ending for a truly wonderful anime! each week i had another warm, innocent, perverse episode to look forward to - the ending scene was just so touching and wrapped up the series so well (cherry blossoms opening....ahhh) - i pray for season two and will continue to read the manga (riichi ueshiba is a truly great artist/storyteller)........9 of 10 for warmth and innocent charm.........

A great finale to a great series. I'm glad they chose to gave more importance to family for the end. From the exchange Tsubaki's sister (who's really cute!) and Urabe had to the visit to grave; was all nicely done. Tsubaki and Urabe's visit to the grave was as spectecular. Urabe as usual was very considerate of the occasion and came up with another ingenious idea.

This was the first anime which I've read its manga before watching the anime. Maybe that's why it was easier for me to appreciate the weird story. I've found the adaptation very well done. Pace, story, music, art was all faithful to the manga and seiyuus were top notch. I'm not sure if it could have been done any better than this. Overall, it was one of the best series I've watched in a while but I guess it isn't everyone's cup of tea.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

Was also a bit surprised at this. Apparently he works a lot?

Anyhow, I quite enjoyed this show's art style and music, and I found the plot pretty interesting for a while, but, in the end, I somehow feel as though I was waiting for bigger (or odder) things to happen that never did...

I'm giving it a 8/10. Hidden gem this season.

No lie, I was grossed out with the first episode or two. However, this turned out to be a really nice and warm series.

Speaking for the last episode, I can't think of a better finale. It was very cute and really glad it focused just on them two. Although I do wish Urabe's family had a little more light shed on it.

The closing minutes showed just how much Urabe wants to be apart of his life. Romantic!

I'm going to miss the moments of "I hope they show Urabe's eyes/face this episode!!!".

Can't get any cuter! Cherish your first girlfriend buddy :D

And another one of the spring series ended.

Enjoyed watching it quite a bit. It first started as some sort of drool fetish- and continued to do so- but there was also lovable character development plus most of the characters were fairly entertaining in their own way. Wouldn't mind watching a second season; especially since the manga's still ongoing (might have to check it out at some point). All in all it's 8/10 for me.

Urabe's last words before end best :D

Personally I think there will be not second season, but of course I would want it <3

I liked the final episode, good closure. Sure, it's really open but the manga is still on-going anway, so I found this to be a fitting ending, the sister got her screen time and little story and we learned about Tsubaki's mother.

Ueshiba thanked the viewers and drew Urabe, that's how you do it and it made me want to re-read the manga.

well after wonder finish it all yet it ok series give i'm still on squick/brain bleach on whole salvia drool love issue.

give yet also tell feelings & sense things as well now that you don't see everyday.

of strange way wonder how will it be dub?

as for ep itself more of the sister having with talk with urabe, also meet tsubaki's dad just in time for last ep, & mom give on grave.

yet urabe visit grave & feeling even more oh my yet overall series ok to watch as long you can make it through saliva/drool love.

Hoping for a 2nd Season, because the ending didn't really satisfy as a conclusion to the story. There will either be a 2nd season or this was something like a 13 episode long advertisment for the manga. Something like "You wanna know how this ends? Read the friggin manga!"

Pretty good series overall, after seeing such a unique manga get an adaptation; it was a much watch to see if it did it any justice. I dare say I prefer the manga to the anime as a few things changed and it hasn't reached as far yet, but that's what OVAs and hopefully another season were for.

At the end of the day, it was nice to see it in colour and hear the characters. Still a little disappointed at the heavy focus on ecchi in some scenes throughout though, but the last episode avoided that.
