| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- guy who looks like a girl and girl who looks like a guy.. good couple :P overall it was a mediocre series. i got really bored at some parts, but ginji as thunder emperor is just too classic shounen for me to resist. i wish he had shown up at the end... oh well |

| Eeeeh I enjoyed it a lot! I didnt want it to end... so i guess now the manga is going to my plan to read. 9/10 for me I really liked it, in fact I kinda wish there were more Shounen series like Get Backers :D (...er except for the guys looking like girls. Its really confusing -_-) |

| I was a little disappointed though.. coz I love Getbackers before when I was watching it on TV and it's subbed "tagalog".. So I had high expectations of it.. but it didn't explain everything.. Luckily, people say that it's different from the manga.. and the manga is now being scanlated time ti time so I'll read it just to quench my curiosity.. hehe.. Still a 9/10 because of Jackal and Ban! XD |

| 9/10 for me ^_^ don't know if i'll read the manga cause it's finished but no translators. :( too bad.. D: still wishing for season 2 even though its been 7 or 8 years or for how many years will come! SEASON 2 FTW! ^_^ |
| i rated it a 4/10, it drug on too long for me, they waited till eps 30 to have any meaningful character development, kept going the obvious routes with everything it seemed (i was able to see over half the events coming well before hand, like at the start of the episode almost) and then there is the ending that isnt an ending again.. getbackers done, now hopefully i wont be disappointed by History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi lol not having high expectations tho i will say i enjoyed eps 39 tho, ginji + himiko anyone? :P |

| Overall a decent series although I find a lot of the fillerish episodes to be horrible. Nice ending overall. I'll rate this a 7/10. Glad Himiko also made up with Ban again :3 Nice to see Kaoru again as well. |

| the show lacked resolve, that's what I would say. The ending was an open one, I suppose it was for us to think and ponder about it. Anyways, great show indeed. |

| The ending not to great since they didn't follow the manga and they screw up the anime just like Ao no Exorcist, Btw the manga is more awesome, epic and full with action, I just hope this anime can be remake if that possible. -_-.... |

| Decent ending but I'm not satisfied... to me it seems the show after the MakubeX arc went down in terms of story progression yes, we had some backstory here and there (Yamato, Paul & Hevn) but it wasn’t enough for me and they didn’t explain who and why the lost children were created (Yamato & Himiko)... they didn’t show the fight between Ban & Lighting Emperor. They left to many things unanswered to my liking. The fighting scenes/choreography even if they were scarce for a show that have all of these fighters were good and the techniques were interesting to watch, overall this was a good watch. |

| Decent series without being spectacular. Just a bit of dumb fun really. Didn't like the ending though, you could tell they caught up to Manga and didn't know how to end things properly. |
| Get-Backers does get points for not being set in a school. It also does get points for having a nice atmosphere with the background music in its intense moments. It also does get points for being set in "our world". But Get-Backers loses points for being pretty much episodic, which can ruin the immersion of the anime, and it also makes it difficult to have the motivation to keep on watching. Episodes 3, 4, 5, and then from episodes 11-25 = these were the only episodes that were good or that you care. Episode 25 should be the final episode. Everything from episode 26-49 just felt pointless. |
