| Love Hina. I so agree with the people above. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. The animation is horrible, the story is just stupid and I hated it. I love the manga though. 4/10 for the anime. It stinks. |

| I have a problem watching an anime, especially comedies, if I've already read the manga. The jokes might be funny, but they're not funny enough to sit through twice. Ouran High School is one example. Manga is all right, anime is...exactly the same but with colored roses. I don't remember if I finished watching Death Note either. I know for sure I watched the last couple episodes since the ending was slightly changed, but I did read the manga first... |
| I think the Chobits manga is way better than the anime. It's deeper and doesn't drag on the comedy for too long. |

| There's a lot of manga that are better than the anime but the ones I can think of right now are Vampire Knight and Rosario+Vampire (I pretty much hated both animes). |

| There is a simple reason why almost all manga are better then their anime counterparts. It's because they STARTED that way. The only exemple of an anime that is better them the manga that I can think of is Gurren Laguann, and it did not start as a manga but as an anime. The real question is: which anime make better justice to it's manga counterpart? But to answer this thread's question, here are my picks: Bleach - Shashing for 20 minutes annnnnd... DONE. Now let's repeat this for the next 3 weeks FMA - A**PULL ENDING! (note: Brotherhood is VERY good in my opinion) Tsudasa Chronicle - SO BORING! (love the OVAs) Black Cat - Gonzo, thank for ruining one of the ideas behind Eve's character... and cramming the plot in the wrong way... |

| a better question is "which anime was better than manga?", cause like 99,9% of animus are by all means worse than manga. censorship, fillers, crappy designs, messy scripts, gonzo, shitty endings etc. there are millions of ways to create a horrible anime out of any manga, even an awesome one. |

| I prefer the Fruits Basket manga to the anime, but I think that's just because I generally prefer manga full stop. The storyline was ok though, just a shame the anime only went up to volume 8... |
