Jormungand Episode 10 Discussion

Jorgumand impresses once again with another episode. If the directing was not smooth with fan service and a slow progression towards total adrenaline pumping and creaming this episode. WOW! It’s like a total perfect setup. Think of episode 9 and this one. Fan service (short), action start up with a plot and NOW this episode total action heat-up with a nice resolution. EXCELLENT DIRECTING! A most deserving shout for Vol 5 of this series. A rather excellent execution so far done. Might edit later.

Among its executions 2 are worth mentioning and I loved them both.

About the first major breakthrough, one of them is connected magically and nicely to Mao from last episode. This is to say of the following,

ARTILLERY READY? FIRE! With what those soldiers used and did in the spoiler to Koko and her crew is crazy. They were going to SAM them out of the sky. Thanks to Mao he got rid of the foot soldiers with these SAMs. I anyone is wondering what kind of shell he used looks no further than the following,

That’s what he used. Suffice to say it left quite the trail in the spoiler it’s a type of specialized shell against personal as much as Napalm is against them with jet fighters being a popular means to get rid of human threats on the ground.

About Marguerite, she really grew a lot for me since seeing her from last episode. From the start till the end Marguerite’s expressions were nice and innocent in the spoiler from her worries to her conversation with Koko. One the reasons Marguerite was valuable to me is that she got me emotional in the spoiler

her happiness being such deeply profound of the resolution towards Nikolaevich and his demise at the end. Koko had some very rich expressions with Maggie. MAGGIE I WILL MISS YOU! Good luck in your work for IRL people like you save a life even if that life may not last longer, the fact of it being prolonged is what is meaningful. So it’s not useless no matter what to do this. Those same doctors are lot around Irak, Africa and Afghanistan.

About Chocolade, oh dear her! Such delicious fan service and expressions in the spoiler Chocolade is one of those girls that needs no undressing and has a natural sensual body + MOE expressions. A ideal nice girl to have seen in general in this series. +++ She has the complex I love so my hormones must be wild for her.

About the second execution start, I loved it! From the ignition to the blast in the spoiler it was marvelous. Especially the way Lehm handled it. SFX and lights along with BGM/sound were also well done.

About the second execution end, well with the whole reward thing in the spoiler it’s natural to not even think twice with all the kids and people this guy along with his army killed, raped and all IRL crap I studied along with witnessed documented accounts of multiple humans sufferings due to this that I am proud of the following,

And to say the least ROT IN JAIL DRAGAN! ROT LONG! For the suffering he caused and Hero status of killing many people and showing off to his men of how much of a SHIT hero if you don’t mind he is then I have every right to shout out like that. I would have loved to be in court to see his death sentence pronounced. May the people he killed now R.I.P. It’s the least being done for them.

About the preview, OH MYYYYYYYYY *calms down* a new very very yummy girl in the spoiler oh! Those eyes and color complexion of her hair complimenting a new attraction to her. I cannot to see her and hope to do some GIFs of stuff of her despite my lack of time.

And thus Koko and crew complete another mission. Great episode as always.

bloodiest battle ever

Watching Jormungand is like watching a bloody movie, but in a well performed way because Koko is fucking loco, music is alpha. The entire crew is actually alpha.

There are only two problem in the anime with me Thi.is that humor is not retransmitted like in the manga (it's the same humor, but it is most successful in the manga, especially the reactions) and the second is they missed the chara-desygn of Casper. He are more expression in the manga.

Well finally we get a really awesome possum episode. Nothing but fun fun weaponry!
The angel flares reminds me on how armored kill will have an AC-130. So I think that thought is enough to make me jizz myself.

Another great and bloody episode! This show has been pretty damn consistent.

Jonah and Koko, as usual, were the best parts of the episode.

seeing dragon army will attack get plane & bring the cannon gun.
air attack cue cannon blast boom.
koko call scarecrow but no then chocolade said yes get dragon.
koko makes plan send few of her crew landmine dragon army.
capture the dragon to give chocolade & scarecrow while female doc called koko a dragon.
mission done all good flying to next work.

next ep valmet's past & female person.

That episode was so manly, I grew a lumberjack beard and chest hair!! 10/10

This is carnage! This is so enjoyable.
Mao got the spotlight this time.
That is some cannon.

Can't help but love Koko's laugh and roar. Ahahahaha.

epic episode as always, the music at the begining was sick, those dude got muffed up and holy shit at that 122mm!!

This episode had great action, those merciless kills and that cannon were a sight, you absolutely do not want to mess with Koko.

I assume that Koko is not like a dragon but a serpent?

Next episode another Valmet flashback, I am so looking forward to it!

Koko's laugh and guoh! guoh! guoh! are to die for. YES!
I waited 10 weeks for Valmet's arc! 1 more week! FUCK YEAH!

Best Episode of the series so far IMO, looking forward to more.

No recoil on a 122 mm? Either I'm behind on the technology, or missed something. Perhaps someone who is more up to date might enlighten me on why there wasn't some push back on the plane or the ramp (I'm assuming that they had it secured to the ramp by some means so it wouldn't slide out while they were climbing).

Great battle, enjoyed this one the most. Also the operation to rescue the doctor. Lehm was badass like always. Oh, so thats what sounds dragons make lol. Looking forward to next episode.

Great episode, that was some epic action.
I liked the fact that they didn't use a cliffhanger, although that new girl in the preview is weird (just like Koko). Looking forward to more.

Not a Dragon, Koko is something worst than a dragon. She brings them into existence and then wipes them out whenever she has to.

But luved the arrow rain and angel of death but I really want Jonah to stand out more like he did in the very first eps Koko is somewat making him more tamed now =/ Looks like it gets more "colorful" in the next ep =p

I just love how most of the story background in Jormungand is based on political interactions between countries in the real world. This episode, for example, is a big nod to the Kosovo War.

Next week we'll see Valmet! But my most anticipated arc is definitely the one about R, though I'll probably have to wait till season two for it :/

Well that was great. Looking forward to Valmet in next ep.

That was quite entertaining and fun. Characters shined even more. Koko was even more awesome than usual and if my eyes aren't deceiving me she looked better designed in this episode.
The only problem is that as usual the gun battles are kind of idiotic. They where just shooting with no cover or anything, there is no reason that they wouldn't also get hurt except if the other guys were blind.

Best part of this awesome episode were the Koko dragon moments.

Best episode so far, awesome shoot out in the beginning and the Flechette shells were boss XD

The way they were playing at how Mao was the only one with a family and making him so important 'n all.. I had the feeling he was for sure gonna die xD I'm glad he didn't though

Haha, I thought the same thing. It felt like a premonition and I thought he would get shot somewhere along those gunfire! I'm glad Koko's team is tough~

The OP and ED has been out for over a week now.

With that being said seems like she can tame someone like Jonah with easy he seems less like a child-solider and more like a child when hes around her at times :P but i do enjoy his fighting moments

Saturday morning cartoon main characters get hurt more often, ffs.

And that unexisting cannon recoil. What kinda stupid idea is to put an artillery on a cargo plane anyway? Not even the freaking B-17 Flying Fortress could pull that off.

But oh well. I've long ago concluded that this anime is to be watched as a low quality fiction show for kids.

Just an FYI, those flechette arty rounds haven't been in service since the 60's.

Koko and her team are really awesome. And what I like about them is that they can still laugh and joke about it like it was just some practice or training..

But I am wondering what was the purpose of Mao's instruction to close your ears and opening your mouth... and the infrared jammer was cool. I didn't know such thing exist.. hehe.

Why did Mao tell them to opem their mouths?

because the attractor field doesn't allow them to die.

I just love Koko and Jonah making dragon sounds. Kawaii etc.
