Never heard of it and Studio Deen. Quantity over quality I guess

Wait, Hakuouki hasn't been licensed here? With its game being released in America, I figured it would have had its anime licensed too.

Neither sound like my type of anime. Nothing interesting here.
I don't accept random friend requests, but feel free to PM me if you want to talk about something i've posted or talk about some anime/manga that i've seen.

I didn't really expect Bakumatsu to get licensed since it didn't seem all that great to me. But anyways, Hakuouki seems more popular than I thought it would be

Wow, kinda ironic, two sides of the same coin, namely how to make historical fantasy set in the bakumatsu - in shounen and in shoujo way. Too bad Bakumatsu KI got less attention back when it was aired than Hakuouki... (nobody can beat BKI's main character in badass sword poses, not even Hakuouki's macho guys)

And I understand licensing Hakuouki, but BKI? I doubt it has serious fanbase, and unless they release it with the main guy half naked on the cover of the dvd, it won't really sell ^_^; (plus while Hakuouki's plot does not require historical knowledge, BKI can't be really enjoyed if you don't know anything about the era ^_^;)
