In the back few pages of Neo magazine I saw an advert for the Blue-ray/DVD release of Roujin Z on Monday 11th June. This is about time. Please, please, please release more classic anime.

Already got the blu ray on Friday, very good picture quality, it's no Laputa or Castle of Cagliostro in terms of picture, but it pops out very nicely, and has good sound quality as well. Very charming, quite humorous movie with a interesting and relevant take on Japan's elderly society.

Is there anything exclusive to the DVD set? Anything trivial? Behind the scenes, per se?

The bluray might have been released in 2012 but it took years (about 6 years IIRC) to get hold of a UK copy at a reasonable price, thank you HMV.

Restless_Soul, the UK release was just the older US 2012 BluRay release. So you will not have missed anything new.
