| I have seen some posts relating to this but it did not present the exact question I wanted. So as stated above what appeals to you? I have 3 Japanese style swords, dagger, shortsword, and katana. 1 Norse double edged sword hard to describe and a Cossack kindjal. Not authentic since a kindjal would be hundreds upon hundreds of years old. I also enjoy archery and prefer traditional bows over compound and crossbow. Thoughts? Comments? Opinions?   These pictures are from last Christmas time period. I have a goatee now the beard is light and goatee heavy. |

Beam sabers, heat axes because im a mecha guy. Katara's because they are just so cool and are beautiful weapons. Like look at this, does it not interest you? Many games base characters around these weapons specify and its great! |

I can understand wanting an of the period item, it holds a prestige. But having a modern day replica also has its benefits. You do not take real historical objects go into the forest cutting branches. Also its pricey to collect them! |

| Why would anyone want a sword? I heard that the pen is mightier than the sword, and pretty much every household has a pen in it, so swords would be useless. But seriously, I think that owning an authentic medeval-style crossbow would be nice. I think a weapon like that would suit me better than a sword (or an axe, mace, spear etc.) |

| I've always liked short weapons for some reason. Wakizashis, tantos, various knives (stilettos, combat knives, butterfly knives), and short swords. Next to that are pole weapons, the glaive and halberd to be precise. |
