| Love the extra bits of the story. Erza is so fixated on her picnic. and Gajeel training to be calm may it be waterfall or lightning. Glad to see other FT members shine and get screen time. |

| Solid episode, a bit slow at times, but enjoyable nonetheless. Erza was hilarious, as usual. Looking forward to the next one, looks like the plot of this arc has finally started moving. |
| Didn't quite like it, some things things bothered me like Lyon appearing out of nowhere and I couldn't take Erza's picnic thing "serious". Oh, "jitsu wa" really pissed me off. |

| I loved how Juvia imagined her child and it's hair looked like both hers and Grays. So they just left those archaeologists in the middle of the ocean? LOL Maybe Gajeel is practicing being hit by lightning so he can fight Laxus |

| One thing I didn't like about this episode was that it felt like it was using comedy to drag on.I mean honestly,a picnic? I don't know why but there's something about what the anime does that makes Erza look stupid at times.Quite frankly,I'm mainly watching this arc because I want to see every last annoying antagonist from Legion to get their ass kicked.Though there were a few golden scenes for me.Like the one with Gajeel's training and the scene with the Strauss Siblings.However,as much as I'm so far dissapointed in this arc,I'm still willing to wait for it to become more interesting (And to see Earthland Sugarboy get a punch in the face....). |
| Haha, this episode is one of the funniest episodes in Fairy Tail I have ever watched. Hopefully there will be more comedy-filled ones in the future! :) Lol, Erza and her "first picnic" (better not piss her off, actually <--- (xD) NEVER piss her off unless you want a death wish)! And Juvia's "love triangle" with Gray and Lyon. (And her wacked out romantic imagination)! XD |

| A dumb episode. Natsu isn't little anymore and the archeologists were left at the sea. The last part was awful. But I liked Gajeel scene. |

| I've never facepalmed or headdesked so many times, ever. The beginning of the episode was fine, but the rest of it was just... god... Ugh. It's probably not the right term, but the plot convenience that they pulled out of their @$$ for Natsu becoming normal again, or the filler within filler... yeah, no. 2/5 for me. Up until this very episode I had no problem defending this arc. This episode just killed my argument. Next episode looks remotely promising. |

| This episode was meh. 2,5/5 A mix of comedy and plot rarely works well. Jitsuwa started pissing me off and the archeologists saying the exact same things we were told in the beginning of the episode was stupid too. Also returning Natsu to his original form was one big ass pull. Have to agree with DevilofWar. Some fillers do make Erza look stupid. And I hate that!! Pikunikku...and the rest of Erza's scene was pretty awkward. At'least Charlotte was the only sensible one "Wth is wrong with you Wendy? That story had a bad ending!" Also Lucy loving that story as a child...what? Either Lucy is a hidden psychopath or bad writing just happened. Juvia kid was funny and Gajeel training was pretty cool though. Kinda saved this episode. |
| The pairings were quite interesting but the rest was all nonesense without any actual contribution to the story. I'm guessing that this information leakage thing is of importance and Michelle has been acting quite fishy ever since she appeared. |

| It *was* better then the last episodes, but really, one of Fairy Tails strengths was to mix in comedy with the plot, there was always room for it. And now they try to squeeze some plot in between the forced comedy. Cmon, you can do better, the other fillers didn't feel like this. Erza sometimes is..weird. Like that one kya! on Galuna Island when she fell into the trap..and simply proceeded to talk as if nothing ever happend once she got out. Or the fact that she likes to carry that much stuff with her. The picnic itself was actually a nice idea, totally fitting Erza. But the way it was executed. And then the archeologist... And Juvia: If you love your child, don't make your daugther have that haircut (Juvia did look better with short hair, anyways). Overall, all scenes felt somewhat out ouf place. I also think that artstyle and animations were a bit different. Ever so slighty, but it felt different now and then. |

I agree with most of your post, but not here. I know people at 12-13 who like "Cage of Eden" - a manga about surviving on the island and is a lot more gruesome than Key to the Starry Sky. None of them are psychopathics and it's not bad writing to like a story with an interesting storyline - even if it has a morbid vibe. Ok. Maybe they didn't thoroughly explain whats the book like, so i can't really say what age is it best suited for, but I'm pretty sure Lucy was like 8-10 years old while reading it and it sounded a lot like one of Grimm's fairy tales (no pun intented) which were meant for adults. Maybe I was a bit extreme saying that reading too mature stuff will make you psycho. That was hypocritical of me (Berserk anime and manga reader since age 14). But I will nitpick about the flashback how once she picks up the book for the first time at her fathers library (think she would have it in her own room) she immediatly recognizes one of the ruins to locate in a real place in this world, which happened way too fast. |
| It was definitely better than last episode, I'll give it that. At least it feels like it has started moving now, and none of the extremely annoying Legion goons were in it. ^^; But it still felt awfully contrived, especially with fixing Natsu's size problem, Lyon showing up randomly, and the random thing about the picnic (which was still funny, but was pretty wtf). I thought they were going to be plants from Legion to try to convince the various teams to turn around and give up their quest, actually, and that would have been interesting. Especially because they all had insider knowledge about what FT was doing. The old guys actually did want them to give it up, but they weren't sent by Legion, and they were huge pushovers. *sigh* It would have been interesting to see if Lyon was being tricked, too, (and then he would have had a reason to come along, other than to ogle Juvia) or if it wasn't really Lyon at all. Instead they all took random, pointless, wtf-worthy pitstops and then continued on. ^^; I cannot wait for Sugarboy, She-Hughes, and whatever the little pope-cat's name is (I forgot it) to get their butts kicked. >.< The guy with the lance (also forgot his name, too lazy to look it up) is the only one that doesn't make me want to go Rambo on him, and I still can't take Coco seriously. Still wondering about Michelle, though. I really do suspect that she was a toy or doll or something of Lucy's as a kid, magicked into human form for a bit. Construction paper clothes? |
