Today I'm getting the new Adema album - Kill The Headlights. I'm not a great fan of their tracks but it's still good music. Later this year Mudvayne want to release the new Shades Of Gray album, which I'm looking forward to a lot. And finally, sometime next year, Disturbed are going to release a new studio album.

The new Orphaned Land album, "The Neverending way of the OrWarriOR", or just OrWarrior. Again, it's a concept album about religion, now about the fight between light and darkness, making it even better but they set the bar high with Mabool so I hope I won't be dissappointed.

That's right, Kabosh's album is also supposed to be released 'soon'. And I've just learned that Poet's Of The Fall are planning to release their third studio album next year. Great news.

I forgot about that one. Haven't heard anything of it music-wise yet but read about it. But remembered finally after seeing Maynard listed. Will have to try looking for it again now I guess.

I'm also looking forward to Streetlight Manifesto's new CD.

Other than that, the only other CDs I was anticipating are already out (C&C's and Thrice's). Both were disappointments for the most part, but whatever, they both had a few decent songs.

New albums I've gotten;

Placebo's self-titled album, but it was their 10th anniversary addition! I also got Rage Against The Machine's entire studio album discrography a while back. As for upcoming albums...Avenged Sevenfold's self-titled album is coming out by the end of the month, and Neverender's post reminds me that I really need to get some Thrice.

Of course waiting for:

Nostradamus by Judas Priest (oh, its the bigest thing i am waiting for in musics. Damn it could come out faster :E)

Lost in Space I & II by Avantasia - It will be a great preview for the upcoming album Scarecrow (Metal Opera III)

Scarecrow by Avantasia - Can't wait to hear how it will sound as whole and how the story will be portrayed.

and
R...R... by Stratovarius - after the failures of two previous albums its certainly interesting to see them going back to their style used in "Visions". Can't wait for it...

Update: I finally bought Avenged Sevenfold's new album!

At the moment, the first half of the album is far superior to the second half of the album. Songs like Afterlife, Scream and Gunslinger are better than some of their songs in City Of Evil, but Waking The Fallen remains their best album overall.

Might review this album in my next blog entry.

Metallica's new album. Let's just hope it's not St. Anger 2.

Bullet For My Valentine's Scream, Aim and Fire,
and The Offspring's upcoming album.

2007 was for me the year of:

Year Zero by Nine Inch Nails,
Era Vulgaris by Queens of the Stone Age,
We Must Obey by Fu Manchu,
Icky Thump by the White Stripes,
Last Lickers Leg by Goon Moon,
D-Sides by Gorillaz
The Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride by Psychostick
and last but certainly not least: Worlds Collide by Apocalyptica

As for 2008 (or further) I'll be looking forward to the new album of Rammstein, the new Soulfly Album, the new Megaherz and I've been told about a new Raconteurs album comming up

On a side note, D -Sides by Gorillaz disappointed me.

D-Sides by Gorillaz

Huh? I didn't know about that certain release. Though my music tastes have changed too much this year, I don't know if I can still enjoy the Gorillaz as much as I did back in 2005.

Edit: But then again, after looking at the content of the albums...I love remixes. xD

Oh, the best albums of 2007?
For me, it was
Year Zero by Nine Inch Nails
Era Vulgaris by Queens of The Stone Age
United Abominations by Megadeth
Elect the Dead by Serj Tankian
Echoes, Silence, Grace & Patience by Foo Fighters
In Rainbows by Radiohead

That's it I think :P

Eh, Sleeping with Ghosts is an alright album. Without You I'm Nothing is Placebo's best imo though.

Some of my fav songs are on Without You I'm Nothing (Pure Morning, Allergic, Every You Every Me, Scared of Girls), but overall I like Sleeping With Ghosts more. I'm just a sucker for piano and electronic elements in my music.

Bullet For My Valentine's new album comes out at the end of the month. FINALLY.

Well, we'll see.

Thrice: The Alchemy Index Vol II (April)
Andy Hunter: Colour (March)

I'm pretty positive that Billy Talent, Placebo and Muse will begin reocrding new albums this year as well.

I hope Muse will go back to what they've done before Black Holes & Revelations, I like Absolution and Origin much better.

Slipknot are supposed to be making a new album this year. I just want to know how the hell they can improve upon vol 3: The Subliminal Verses! It'll also be curious to see if the Slipknot sound is affected by all the side projects of the various members. Hopefully they'll announce a release soon.

Edit: Also, there is no such thing as too much Muse! I definitely prefer them pre-'Blackholes and Revelations', but they did have some cool songs on there like 'Map of the Problematique'. I reckon they should tone down the level of experimentation for a majority of the new album, but then just completely let loose for about three of the tracks. It'll probably be awesome however they do it, they haven't let me down yet.

Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz
