| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A very nice episode that continues the training from last episode whom I had no time to comment upon yet. Except this episode has more extras than I though. In fact I did not even think the fan service would balloon that much but it’s official that now AKB0048 now with fan service is in. About the fan service, now I had some vibes from last episode something was stirring up so to speak and with the showers thing 2 episodes before but it came to fruit finally in this episode. In 2 parts I remarked. First being the bath in the spoiler The second part has to do with Kishida Mimori in the spoiler Random comments, the end was very much worthwhile in terms of the following,  Nice MOE of Sonata and Linda there. I liked seeing them new faces in the spoiler Totally loved the video flashback in the spoiler Finally nice in seeing the following,  Quite something uncommon in the faces of Makoto there. So I am wondering despite the $$$ was fan service really a necessity to make it or it was done because the ones responsible of its marketing know the whole creepy Otaku coming to see the concerts of AKB and that it will make them more $$$ since they are the target people who will buy the anime? Might edit later. |
| Tomomi has a nice place and we have a shared taste for spicy food. Her parents are extremely nice too. Sonata has nice hips and ass. |

| This show is a slower pace again, probably give chance to be more familiar with the characters and flesh out personality. There's some inside jokes/information because of that. I'm working with non sub here so I'll add infos later. Oh and they meet the other Tomochin that came before. Yuko talked about Acchan. Even in 2D, they're still tie with the 1st and 2nd place. -------------------- -They added a new sequence to the OP, where the girls stand around doing a huddle. It's the same as AKB team A's even the hand -  Watanabe Mayu, or Mayuyu in anime touching Sonata might be a joke on her Oshiri sister personality....that she and Oshima Yuko have a habit for skinship ie touching other girls...especially their butt..... IDK how a cyborg can swim but if they have money for cyborg, it's probably waterproof  -Kasai Tomomi is one of the "sexy" member because she exude "pheromones" which is a slang for being sexy without trying so when Sayaka was mad at Mimori and say "Who are you trying to be, Tomo-mi?" that's what she mean. -  Itano Tomomi a member who do alot of modeling, who Tomochin in the show is based off, it's known for her tastelessness...meaning she can eat even bad tasting foods and think it's normal.  -Kojima Haruna, or NyanNyan's pheromone joke probably came from who her character is based off, , who's a popular member that do modeling and is known for her nice, and according to lesbian fans, ero/sexy body. :P - They inserted the cover of AKB48 song on one of the magazine/book the trainee was reading, Give me Five (where akb actually learned instruments, except for Yuko who already know bass and Kojiharu who already know piano)  -Orine and Yuka trying to make Tomochin infamous duck lips in the end just cracked me up. It's a requirement to have duck lip if you want to be tomomchin? lol...does that mean you have to sexual harass other girls to be yuko? | I loved that they finally showed some more background to the successor members. I loled at how the twin towers (Sayaka and Sae) tried to make Mimori more "cool", while Kanata and Makoto got the complete opposite training from Harunyan. The Tomochin legacy was great, too. Especially their reaction "tomochin ippai" Suzuko being quite inquisitive about "Sensei sensei" was cute too (and lets not mention the fanservice we got in the bath *drools*) Also, it looks like Nagisa finally managed to get a bit closer to Chieri |

| Well, this episode was hugely disappointing. Not much of anything important at all happened except some info on current AKB members. I was hoping more would happen between Nagisa and Chieri, but what little bit we got wasn't too bad at least. We could've gotten back stories on some of the side characters, but nope: gotta have a shitty, boring fanservice episode. There was almost zero forward progress in terms of story as well. All we know is that they're getting nowhere (in terms of making it into AKB). The fanservice was definitely not appreciated--especially the bath scene. What little was significant during that conversation could have occurred anywhere else; it was just an excuse for fanservice. And don't even get me started on bouncing boobs. | Like there was no fanservice in earlier episodes, good one XD but this one was nice, I would even call it good no overblown drama, that we could see earlier just their daily lives - getting to know more about them, their surroundings much better addition than some fights or quarrels - after all they will be friends at the end :P plus pheromone training :D that Tomochin House was a bit creepy thou on more than one level (and such a crude eugenics?) also getting to know that dance instructor is a guy... since he's in entertainment buisness it was kind of expected but they made him kind of nice character, positive thing here |

| I'm thinking 'sensei-sensei' has more to do with that mysterious place we're always seeing >.> Also, LOVED it ~ It was really interesting to learn more about the successors and it looks like Nagisa and Chieri are already gathering crowds without even trying. Kirara also seemed to shine a bit when they were together. More evidence that it's the two of them together that make the glow. I love how some are calling this episode 'fanservice' xD Really, you guys must be really sheltered if you think that's anything to talk about ;) I didn't think of it as fanservice really, I was too concentrated on everything else that was going on. The scene with Mayuyu and the food was hilarious! Still love this show the most out of all the shows this season for sure ~ EDIT Now that I think about it, I'm thinking all those centers whom 'graduate' go on to work at that shrine thing probably. |

There weren't explicit positions to make it "fanservicy" either so it's not like it was a big deal I just saw it as "oh they're taking a bath." Maybe the most fanservice thing happening in this show is that there's ALOT of inside references to AKB48 that the average fans would enjoy more than the people that don't know AKB. Hopefully the next ep would have more stuffs happening but since they have a large cast, they would need some ep just to flesh out the personalities and characters so it's necessary Well, that makes two of us that didn't see it as fanservicey ~ Yeah, there's TONS of AKB fanservice for sure xD Ah, yeah, that god thing is sensei sensei for sure. |
| Mimori is my fav. I especially loved the part where she try to pretend like a tomboy but ended up flashing about her chest. I demand more Mimori <3. I also loved seeing the other members. I loved Tomomi and the girl that was trying to help Mimori. In my opinion this was the best episode so far...Im loving this show |
| I enjoyed this episode a lot. It wasn't action packed but I loved the character progression and plot details we got. I'm so intrigued by Sensei-Sensei and why all the centers went missing. I'm shocked that Nagisa wants to be Yuko's successor, I was expecting her to take over for Acchan. Mayuyu is so hilarious, I love her personality. Tomochin's duck lip training was hilarious as well. Can't wait for the next episode so much ;~; |
| Nagisa should be Acchan. <3 Mimori training to be like a tomboy, and Kanata and Makoto training to be more feminine are fun to watch. Also Chieri and Nagisa already attracting people shows that both of them shows potentials to be centers. |

| This show is awful but it's fun to watch and make fun of, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody who actually wants things that make anime good but if you want to laugh it does provide that. I must say though, this episode really wins out on the previous ones in terms of pure awful, almost every single scene has sloppy directing, poor writing, and put together nothing happens the entire episode. If someone wants a case study in how to fail in every conceivable way please watch this episode. I expect great things from this show, please keep making me laugh. |

| Wow this episode was great! I love Sonata! She is so cute and she is my favorite lol. I like her bunny ear outfits. Pretty cool learning that the dance centers disappear after graduation. This makes me curious. I have a conspiracy theory that all the dance graduates have become the "bad guys". |
| That were a lot of new characters for me, I'm sure I don't remember each name. The Tomomin line is crazy if you think about it but the family was funny. Why was the father's face not shown, though? Was it Sayaka, the same voice actress of Saber? I really wanted to hear "EXCALIBAAAAA" but besides that I liked how she tried to make Mimori less sexier. Mimori's bouncing breasts were fanservice, the bath scene was not in my opinion. I hate Suzuko but without her we wouldn't have learned a bit about Sensei-Sensei. I really want to know what happened to Acchan and even if Nagisa wants to be the next Yuuko at the moment, it has to change to Acchan, it seems inevitable. Cyborg girl is hands down my favorite character, glad to see her come back for ths episode. Overall a good episode, I sat back and enjoyed it. |

| Just as they started actually training, we have a day off. I guess I can overlook that with the introduction of a bunch of new characters. Still dialogues, particularly the ones Nagisa is involved, feels very unnatural. So does a good amount of scenes; they just don't make sense. And the introduction or the little hint on the 4s was the worst I have seen in a good while. |

| I liked this episode a lot, it was nice learning more about the personalities of all the girls as well as the successors. They're all very unique and I really liked all of their characters. That long line of Tomochin, what in the world... Never stand between Mayuyu and her food. And lol that whole thing with pheromones was funny. |

It's funny how this statement shows that you don't allow people to have different taste than you. For some case I prefer the lighthearted slice-of-life moments more in an action show, instead of just fighting and fighting and more fighting, for a recent example, Strike the Blood. Bonding is also a development, and the title clearly stated "Their day off" That SS-SS, very weird.. Those Tomomi look-alike lol. For some reason Yuuko really look like Misaka Mikoto for me, those hairstyle.. real alike. I love how they show us all of the current 0048 members, they're all lovable ^^ The OST was great too :) That Tomomi(s) lips thingy was funny lol, it's in their blood, that "talent" lol. |

| Hmm, pretty meh episode, I would rather if they centred the developement on current girls in training rather than previous-gen girls with bad exposition (really, I can't tell them apart character-wise, they were introuced pretty forgettably). Although it's true that most of them are some legendary seiyuu like Mamiko Noto, Horie Yui, Nakahara Mai, Kawasumi Ayako or Ueda Kana. And those things with pheromones and idol-inbreeding was also weird and served no purpose in showing. But the Sensei-Sensei and Quadruple is really something that piques my interest. |
