I forgot about these but now that a couple people have mentioned them...

Sister Princess - The animation was pretty crappy and the story and characters were boring. It was the same thing over and over of the guy(forgot his name) helping his sisters find a teddy bear or help take a picture or whatever. I also didn't like it as much since I came into it expecting it to be a perverted harem anime.

Haruhi Suzumiya - Yes, I know everyone likes it but I just couldn't get into it. It annoyed me to no end that the episodes were out of order and even that aside the characters and story still sucked. The action sucked and I understand it's a comedy so it doesn't need to be good but the comedy was also crap. The thing is I can't quite put my finger on why it was so bad but I'll think of it at some point.

Hmm. That's a toughy. I've had to suffer through some pretty terrible ones. Alas, that is the danger of watching so much anime, you will encounter the crap with the good.

I'm going with:

DNA^2: Terrible animation, bad characters, and the plot....I think they forgot to add one!

E's Otherwise: This anime started out in one style...a style with a storyline riddled with inconsistencies and faulty timelining...and then it abruptly pulled a 180 and fell into a different style category removed from the original plot, and finally, when it decided to return to the original plotline, it answered NOTHING! I mean, this ending introduced more plotholes than anything I've ever encountered. It was like the creators had tons of ideas, threw them into a hat, and then whipped certain ones out, mutilated the rest, and tried to conceive an ending based on that.

Elfen Lied: I just don't get the appeal. They try to be deep, but just come off as depraved.

Gantz: Most depraved thing ever...although...I sadly have to confess that I did like the character Nishi. No, i don't know why.

Bersek: I actually really liked it until...twitch twitch...the ending. Trust me, if you haven't seen the last episode, bail out now!

Fushigi Yuugi: Yeah, not a fan of soap operas.

One Piece: Another one I don't get the appeal of. I hate the plot, the art, the characters, the voice acting...all of it.

I could go on, but I think those are some pretty "good" awful ones. ^_~

I have to agree. E's Otherwise is one of the most -disappointing- anime series I've ever seen. Because it started out with a lot of potential, but pissed it all away. It could've wrapped up all the "WTFs?" but completely failed to. That made me sad.

Worst I sat all the way through would have to be the Fushigi Yugi Eikoden OAV. Otherwise I'd have to go with Piano. I gave it several chances and somehow I got through 4 episodes over the course of a week. Every single episode was a fight to stay awake though.

Alright then. I, for one, personally could never see the appeal of Inu-Yasha. Its fine that people like it, but personally, I got really bored with it. I mean, the first few episodes were OK, and the series had good potential, but then it just got boring for me. And after the first 2 seasons, it just became repetitive, and then got lots of fillers, to add to the annoyance. Peronally, I feel that its an extremely overrated anime. But, with that said, its not like I have a problem with other people liking it. Let's just say that its not my type of anime ;).

Haha I actually liked IY at first and even marathoned some 20 odd episodes. Then I grew tired after all the repetatition and realization that they would never get around to seriously dealing with the final bad guy (his name escapes me atm).

The worst anime that I've seen would have to be binchou-tan. It was so pointless. Don't get me wrong, I like pointless... but it was just TOO much that it pissed the hell out of me...

Surprisingly I don't hate any of the anime series I've watched, not even the series I watched on YTV when I was a kid (Pokemon).

Maybe I'm too tolerant?

Labyrinth of Flames. No surprises there of course, but it was only a 2 episode ecchi so I figured I'd give it a shot, knowing it'd probably end up bad.

Puni Puni Poemy Is mean the whole thing was lame I rented at blockbuster and I saw it in their poor anime section and saw the two episodes and jokes were lame and Yeah I even try to listen to it in the original Japanese Dub and it still suck. If you like Excel Saga stay away from the creators short series Puni Puni it'll make you want to cut his neck off.

Puni Puni Poemy, Naruto and Gantz were the worst I've ever seen.
I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

You didn't like Gantz? sigh....

Well one of the worst I have seen is Black Blood Brothers, story development was very weak and ended up dropping it around episode 8.

i didnt think haruhi was a masterpiece, but i wouldnt say it was the worst either. what bothered me the most was how it was out of order. i think if i watch them in time-order i'd enjoy the series more.

Kab3451: I didn't mean that this was a horrible series either, It hust was a bit too confusing with the episode order. As said before, the worst anime I've ever watched has to be Hana Yori Dango... and I'm thinking of adding KKJ to the bottom too...

I don't even know...I only associate myself with ones I believe will be entertaining beforehand. Although Claymore definately did not turn my crank for some reason.

I can see why you could get bored with inu yasha. and personally, i dont think you hating it is really all that controversial. here i was thinking you were about to say you hated haruhi/death note/something else thats really really popular.

Inuyasha is just that type of show that has SOO many fillers. i watched it on tv, whenever it was on. i dont think i'd ever be able to actually sit down and watch a bunch of them in a row.. i tried and i just couldnt do more than 3 episodes haha.

Well then, its good to know that people won't jump out and flame me for that =P . I suppose I just felt like that would happen, because of the majority of the anime fans in my school, most of them are huge IY fans, and seem to get really pissed off when I say that I don't like it (that's not to say that I hate it, but it is the worst anime that I have seen, in that its just not my type of show).

Let me see... there's a lot of animes that i don't like. Inuyasha, EVA, Yu-Gi-Oh!... but i'll choose Kannaduki No Miko. The art is great, the two girls are pretty... but the storyline is too fragile. Too much empty love triangle, less well-build story.

Poor Kotoko, great songs for a dumb anime. XD
"A lesser man might call it a day and bask in the echoing voices of cheer and celebration. A lesser man might delight in the moment, knowing he's the ultimate hero, a benevolent Big Brother to all and an inspirational light of hope in the darkest of times.

But Superman is not a lesser man. He renews his vigorous patrol of our world for wherever the battle for trust and justice must be fought, Superman will be there.

As yes, I did try that. The only thing under the description for that on this site though is that it's basd off of a MMORPG. There aren't any reviews for it. I suppose I could wiki it, but I'm lazy. ^.^

aww kkj? i thought that anime was decent... reading the manga first kinda ruined the second season for me though... since the ending was horrendus. I thought it started out good and ended bad.. but maybe i'm partial to it since its my favorite manga and one of the first anime shows i ever watched.

It actually was the first manga that I ever read, and the first anime series I actually saw (that I knew was an anim series) but the anime was just so.. bad when I compared it to the manga, which I couldn't avoid doing since I read it before I beacem interested in anime.. The manga on the other hand.. good shoujo series :)

Naruto Shippuden

Early on it was like 1 manga chapter expanding over 4 episodes. Ridiculous. I still can't believe I watched up to 18 of that crap.

I agree with you. Well, I have only read the first 5 volumes of the SDK manga, and its pretty good, with the potential to become great, for me. However, I honestly couldn't stand the anime, and gave up on it about half-way through.

Monster seemed so dull for me for some reason. Took me almost 2 years to finish, and I'm surprised I actually finished it.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien was pretty bad too....

Well then there's stuff like Pokemon and Digimon which are obviously meant for kids so those kind of go without saying...

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, personally I loved it. I really got into KGNE because of the characters and the art but to each their own.
Personally I hate Naruto, and DBZ, they just never end and each loophole was more terrible then the next. Granted Kakashi is a very cool character but the procrastination and countless fillers piss me off.

After having watched Bondage Game - Shinsou no Reijoutachi I have to change my opinion about DB GT being the worst anime ever... BGame is by far the worst thing I've ever seen! And I'm a completely open minded person...

I'd recommend everyone to stay away from it.
