| A good end to this arc, and that was a pretty touching moment with Usopp and the three kids. I liked this arc more than the buggy arc, but I'm hoping the next arc is more focused on adventure and less on fighting. |

| Looks like we've finally set up for the final episode of the arc. This segment started on episode 12, and it's now seemingly gone on to episode 17 to finish. That's 6 episodes on the slope! But, I really haven't minded. It's not like a fights been dragged out and people have been charging power levels for 10 minutes, or two dudes hitting each other to recycled footage either. Every episode has provided solid development for Kuro, and progressed every characters perspective of this situation, which is a handful of characters. It may be better off being shorter, but the length isn't awful by any means. I must say, Luffy is very right about Kuro. He is in every possible way, apart from numbers and killing power, a worse pirate than the fake Usopp. Seriously, look at the will power and heart of Usopp's men, he's a great influence in their life. He would stand up for them like he's standing up for Kaya right now, and on the other hand Kuro is slaughtering his men in the blink of an eye. "What do you take your friends for?!", amen Luffy. I assume that Luffy not responding to Kuro, which makes him very angry, is because he see's him as so pathetic he's not even worth responding to. Luffy is, in reality, a very aware and intelligent person. For some scattered thoughts: It was very smart for Kaya to threaten her own life, I hadn't thought of doing that. And I thought the pirates would start cheering Luffy's name once Kuro said he'd kill them afterwards. Next episode looks to be the end of Jango and Kuro! Hope the build up was worth it. |
| This technique Kuro uses is pretty dangerous, even attacking his own men indiscriminately. Also lol @ Nami, she went for the pirate's treasure even though she was pretty injured xD |

| Kuro was plotting to kill everyone else involved in his master plans in the end after all. Spamming his ultimate move that knows no friend nor foe countless times even before this event just shows how much of a heartless person he is when it comes to seeing people as tools. His flexibility's hilariously ridiculous too. It's nice to see that the kids weren't complete cowards and tried their best to fight back and protect Kaya. She even put on a brave face to save them and buy enough time for Zoro to arrive. |

| Kuro reveals his whole plan. He had planned to kill them anyway. Also, wtf? His "out of the back" attack is pretty much broken. The fight was very enjoyable though. Jango got Kaya's will. I think the kids will interfere. Fr though, the kids are like the MVP. There are so young and inexperienced but are still going on like crazy even though they know that they can be killed. |

| I have faded memories of watching this episode 20-ish years ago back when Cartoon Network (probably) aired these. Captain Kuro's swords are freaky. |
