| Eh, I see the premature rating as a weekly report at how you feel the anime is going. If the first few eps are general crap, then why should I waste my time watching them? Furthermore, how do I know it's crap yet if there aren't weekly grades? But far as this show goes (and more than likely others as well), I felt like this ep was a recap on more levels than just the beginning few minutes or so. It was a recap into what Code Geass works with in terms of the atmosphere, characters, and series setup. So, you can't really rate this anime based on the first ep. BTW, if you find a series to be worth a 1 or 3, would you go through to the end hoping it gets better or drop it on the spot and give it such a score? Cause you could interpret that kinda of scoring the same way as scoring as you go. |

| I haven't watched CG, but I'll say the same thing I said in the Wagaya discussion. The anime score isn't supposed to be given with just one episode. It's supposed to be an OVERALL score. You're giving it an EPISODIC score. If you liked the episode so much, great, vote 5/5 in the episode 1 discussion topic, that's what the poll is made for. But there is absolutely no reason to throw a 10/10 as a score after FOUR PERCENT of the series has aired. What the hell of a sample is that? The score may be high, but it's actually completely meaningless. I don't see the point in what's being done. |

All studios have to do is make sexually ambiguous and unrealistc characters for mentally unstable people to beat/diddle themselves to, and they get high ratings. | hype = exaggerated publicity so its not really overhyped at all there really are that many people watching it and there really are that many people finding it good this being overhyped would be if everyone of those people started concerts/flyers/tv ads about how great this show is in reality all they did was vote what they felt was right, and it unexpectedly made it to a top 10 slot. no one is trying to convince you to watch it, so the show probably has no hype at all. |

Oh and don't get me wrong I don't hate Code Geass at all and will change my rating at the end of the season. I think rating the show a 10 before you've even seen 1/12th of the show is just as retarded as giving it a 1 to even out said retards' ratings. |

| I personally gave it the same rating I gave the first season (10) since until they actually do something thats actually deserving of a lower score. It should be rated the same, If they didnt call this "R2" and just added the episode count to the first season (making R1 52 instead of 2 batches of 26) then no one would complain about not rating it or rating it a 10 early |

| I guess that makes some sense, internally in Sunrise these are probably considered episodes 26-50 just like the second half of Gundam 00 will be and if rumors are right hopefully Macross Frontier. Same deal with Clannad and Clannad After Story. |
