Help us find all the series that has fillers.

We will make a list of every anime and manga (yes they have them to) series and see how far the evilness has spread. There has to be atleast 2 (unless its a well known series) people who agrees (maybe more for more confirmation, but right now not enough members to require alot more) that there is fillers and we will list them all here.

Ill start off by saying naruto/bleach/OP/IY/detective conan..

Now lets start listing them

Anime:

  1. Naruto
  2. Bleach
  3. One Piece
  4. Detective Conan
  5. Eyeshield 21
  6. Inu Yasha
  7. Dragon Ball
  8. Dragon Ball Z
  9. Dragon Ball GT (This was all filler, no real plot here)
  10. Ranma ½
  11. Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
  12. Digimon (All Seasons)
  13. Pokemon (All Seasons)
  14. Rurouni Kenshin
  15. Sailor Moon
  16. Slayers

Manga:

  1. Detective Conan
  2. Dragon Ball (Manga included Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z anime aspects)
  3. Ranma ½
  4. Maison Ikkoku
  5. D. Gray Man

I'll resay this to understand what can go into the list. I will define a filler as a story arc that does not contribute to the original story line. After awhile since mostly this only pertains to series with alot of eps to give them a chance to filler-up, it will be changed to explain more of the smaller anime/manga series.

I donno... I stopped reading InuYasha because of all the fillers, so I never got into the show, but it seems like it should be higher than that.

For manga, Ranma 1/2 has to be on the list. Seriously. Dragonball/Z/GT should be on both the manga and anime. YuYu Hakusho seemed to have a lot of fillers to me. I know I'm mentioning ancient series, but still.

Hmm never got to ranma 1/2, anways wanted to but never found time plus had that old style which makes me take longer to start. Ill wait a bit to either have someone else confirm or ill check up myself.

I'll add the Dragonball series. As for yuyu its hard to say if they are fillers. Theres 4 different arcs which all seem somewhat independent but than never sure if there was a real plot after the 1st arc.

Keep mentioning the ancient series because they still add to the list.

In that case, Digimon, Pokemon, and any other Mon I can think of is basically filler full. Sailor Moon belongs up there. I believe that after the first season, Slayers was pretty full of fillers. I think those are the major offenders.

Alright. How about manga? Any of those manga counterparts have fillers, or just eh animes, which I agree on.

As a matter of fact, almost any kids show is considered a filler because they hold no real plot. When I was a kid I hated pokemon because they would always introduce new characters and at the end would be like "hope to see you again one day" and yet go another 200 eps and never reshot a char. :( Was the first time I noticed I hated anime atcually.. :(

Rurouni Kenshin, the end of the anime (last thirty or so eps) were fillers

Tenchi Universe/Tenchi Muyo TV definitely should be added to that list. That series could have been done in 10 episodes. Also, Slayers should be re-written to "Slayers (all seasons) because there's always at least two episodes of filler.
As well, Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura, and Marmalade Boy. I'll try to think of more later.

Fruits Basket. I'm done reading that series, I'd just like it to end.

Really, is that what a filler is? I thought fillers were just parts of the story that have no relation to the main plot, or just drag on and on with one though process.

I consider Sakura Wars OVA 2 filler because the episodes aren't a part of the storyline of the Sakura Wars 2 game.
