| we certainly see a lot of people here w/ the mentality that a decent mystery is impossible to be found aside from those of a murder scene this series certainly kicks detective conan out of the bucket who relies to have every dying victim each episode to have the so called "mystery" |

Just it's not complete the curse. -Why did the family lose contact with the family of the uncle? Could it be bad relations? Fear? Or plain simply the curse was known and they cut ties to not be cursed. These are all interesting thoughts and assumptions that came up to me. This is also another good reason to take the time to take a 2nd looks at Hyouka and each of its episodes. You think her uncle was trying to summon Cthulhu or something? lol |

| I really love the cafe scene (and Chitanda's flashback) and the angles from which the scenes were shot! Again another beautiful episode!! And I suppose the mystery gets more interesting.. Maybe the uncle did something bad or some accident happened. I have a feeling that this has something to do with that old building... |

| would have been so awesome if the guy was smoking weed, but the scene with Oreki just blackmailing him was so good to watch, he had him on a piece of string and the guy was just SO frustrated, the ending was meh, once he said the line 'all we need to do now is read issue 1' (or something like that) I was waiting for one of them to be like 'OMG ISSUE 1 IS MISSING..... DUM DUM DUMMMMMMMM' it is however slowly improving and I hope they delve deeper into the mystery aspect with Eru's uncle or whatever it was.... |

| I like Oreki so far. I've never been a fan of detective/mystery stories, but he is just fun to watch. I also really liked the way he explained the 'mystery'. The others are also nice. Though I somehow find Chitanda a bit annoying, I like Ibara more so far. The art style is just gorgeous, I especially liked the way Chitanda's story was shown and how they showed Oreki's thoughts/brain-storming in the previous episode about the book. Hope to see more of these. I agree that the ending was a bit cheesy. It's also funny how everything happened so conveniently (like Oreki's sister sending a letter about the whereabouts of the anthologies, just when they were searching for it). |

| I like the imagery of this series. Particularly the part with Oreki sitting on the bench watching Chitanda play by herself. It got the message across better than words ever could. |

It is the book she brought up to her uncle and asked him about it. That's probably why she picked that one out. It being vol.2 is probably coincidence. |

| Is it just me who finds Chitanda annoying? I don't like people who pry and every time her eyes light up showing her curiosity, I'm just like... Leave it alone, if it's not your business -___-' *sigh* It's rare that I find main characters that I dislike. Oh well. I'm only watching Hyouka because of how Oreki-kun will solve the mysteries. Otherwise, I think I would have dropped this series :/ |

| 5/5 Interesting episode that also manages to involve me, the background music while not original, are relaxing, I love classical music and did not expect to hear this music in a similar souls. Technically it is spectacular, the rooms are always the best. Curious to know how to evolve the case, which surely will be the main topic addressed in the plot. |

| Chitanda already trusts Houtarou with this personal information so their is a bond there already. Houtarou is really good at reading people and staying unreactive. Another mystery has popped up already with Vol. 1 of the anthologies. Really invested in this series right now. |
