| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great episode, finally next episode will be Hisoka's fight. I hope it doesn't get censored. PS: Because the older anime made it extremely confused as to WTF happened in Hisoka's fight (99% of it was omitted) I might post screenshots from the manga for the next 2 episodes to explain..if the fight is also censored in this one :) Because it's pretty much a mindfuck. |

| Wow, that was really amazing.... I loved the way the episode was layed out and how Nen was presented. The ending was so interesting too. I can't wait to find out more about the "hidden exam"!!! 5/5 |

| The thrill of deaths edge huh XD; nice to see that Killua is waiting for him, tho considering Gon's character he likely won't have to wait long :P So next we have Hisoka's fight; i wonder if he might actually have to try or even lose now that he is fighting other Nen users. |

| They gave more screen time to Kurapika's master compared to the old version. Heh, looks like the pace is slowing down now, though I don't really mind it as long as it still has the fast pace of story telling. Cannot wait for them to finish this training arc! |

| They skipped a part from the manga, but it's understandable that they'll save it till later. Not that it bothers me too much, I mean, the episode was great. Curious about how they will handle the next episode. The old series barely showed anything... as long as they don't give is magic flowers, I'm fine with whatever they do. :D |

| I really like how they are making Nen easier to understand and how action packed episodes have become. This is a small and silly detail, but I really like how the studio animated the kanji names for the attack names! It gives the battle a neat action-videogame feeling to it X3 Also, the Kurapika scene at the end had a dark note feeling to it, very appropriate considering the things that will happen soon. And, given how this battle was handled, I really can't wait for next week's battle. It's going to be awesome and superbly animated! Also, hopefully, it won't be censored. |

 It looked like Gon was dancing. But pretty terrible in the end. Gon always shows promise but then resorts to be awful This is an interesting training arc and I hope they make it last a bit longer. Kurapika's separate plot is fine as long as they continue to show Gon/Killua/and Megane niisan. Everytime they say aura for nen, I keep thinking they should just say chakra. |

| wow this episode was just... PERFECT... nice effects, good pacing, started introducing dark mood music, and the proper meeting between Kurapika and his master was cut on hunter x hunter classic. 5/5. |

| Oh, the next ep will be the real test for the new series. We'll finally be able to see the extent of what they're allowed to get away with, censoring-wise. Crossing my fingers. And damn, Kastro looked good in the preview, the character design is a definite improvement (well, except for Chrollo in the OP) compared to the old series. |

| I don't mind the slow pace at all, it seems new to me anyway :P. But I really can't stand those awful recap episodes every 13th. They really suck out the entire flow of the series. |

You expected him to win that fight? He just freaking learned one aspect of Nen and barely at that. And, Kurapika....just Kurapika. I love where this series takes him. |

Chakra is said for the power inside the body and aura for outside. so aura is ok |
