| I loved this episode~ :) I don't usually go for the slice of life genre - but I think Aria will soon change that. First thing is first - the animation was just too beautiful - made me want to go to Venice! Moreover, the characters are very sweet and kind. This anime's whole atmosphere is calm and soothing and I'm really enjoying it :) |
| Ah...there was a topic for this? Or did I just forget to respond to it. This episode was boring from what I remember. But the second episode improves. Or it could have just been my mood. Anyway, it's one of those shows for when you're not pumped, but relaxed, and it's one of those shows you just have to let wash over you. Because if you use even use half or more of your brainpower to watch it, you'll get bored. |

| It's a great episode to watch if you're in bed with a fever, having absolutely nothing to do. The BGM was lovely. I like the animation (even though it's way outdated now.) Venice Neo Whatever is like my dream city. Everything is relaxed and slow. Alicia-chan is cute. |
| So this is why I keep seeing this anime associated with the feeling of relaxation :3, I was worried whether I was going to enjoy this but I see it's off to a very good start ^_^ hopefully it will only get better from here on out but the setting and animation is beautiful =D |

| Ohh, majority of the episode I kept thinking to myself "I would love to live in this city". It was so beautiful, it was pretty relaxing and cute. I definately would enjoy this every night, or when I'm just calm and tired. The opening is my alarm clock. I've listened to the soundtrack before I watched the show, and it was wonderful hearing the music. |

| Not too impressed by the opening ep, but I'll keep watching cause I'm looking for a relaxing watch, and I think that Aria will fill that gap, plus the third season has a really high rating, so I'm definitely curious to see it. |

| Seems like a VERY laid back relaxing slice of life anime, not sure if i can marathon something like this yet, but either way it'll be a good inbetween anime. First ep was good imo. |

| Wow, what a relaxing and a calm episode. I've never felt so calm in my entire life after watching an Anime episode. It's also good to see a setting other than Japan. President Aria sure is a cute fellow. :3 Everytime that little girl Ai talks, I find myself smiling. I don't know why but I really like her voice. I fell in love after I heard it, lol. She's also sweet since in the end, she told Akari that she didn't regret riding on her boat. I also noticed that all the gondolier's name in the Aria company starts with letter A. Also, Alicia is a one pro mafuking gondolier, lol. I understand why Akari adores her. Plus, if they are in Mars, does that mean there are also aliens? :> |

| I can't begin to count how many times I've watched this great series from beginning to end! It's the kind of series that always sticks with you from the first viewing. What I love about this first episode is that it gently sets up things that will come back in later episodes like Ai's relationship with Akari, the history of Aqua (Mars), Akatsuki's love of Alicia, etc..It's interesting to note just how much happens in this episode, yet we have not met our entire cast of characters. That's just the kind of series "Aria" is; it takes it's time doing things and allowsthe viewer tocoast long at a Natural pace. |

| Boring the music helps putting me to sleep. If it actually continues on like this eh I'll just drop it. Mr. President Aria is already annoying the f*ck out of me gawd I hate these pets :/ in animes that make those annoying sounds. |

| The visuals, the music, the story...everything was beautiful. What a wonderful way to end the day. And I'm only assuming Aria gets even better throughout this season and the following ones. |
| After finishing the adrenaline pumping Gurren Lagann, I think this show will be a great relaxer. From the first episode I know I'm going to like it, especially since I've read the manga a few years back and enjoyed it very much. |

| the scenery is so calming to see, the art is cute, and the character is refreshing i also enjoyed the start and i love how the story is about paddling a boat >_< |
| Ok, I finally tried two episodes of Aria expecting to love the series and get the enthusiasm, and so far I'm really, really disappointed. Don't try to point any external reason about if I like slice-of-lifes or instead love more action-packed stuff because what I didn't like was the delivery. Specially, this overly cheesy dialogue that falls on obvious, pseudo-poetic and discursive speech about the beauty of life and feelings. And well, the comedy is, uh, unimpressive. The art is nice and cute, the background music is relaxing but nothing I could find special, but it's just the way the whole is driven what drives me nuts. It feels fake, too "marketed", unnatural. This episode probably would get 6 points, and the second would have 5. Considering how much has my hype grown since I first heard about this show, it can be classified as a serious disappointment. Will watch the rest, but the first glance hasn't been too promising. |

| Glad I finally started to watch this series, I really liked this first episode. I wasn't sure if I would like it since I new it would be really slow paced, but it is so calming (plus I watched it right before I'm going to sleep ^_^). Music was also really nice <3 |

| Not relaxing at all, just boring, and I find this to be a bit on the overrated side, judging by this episode. 3/5 I probably won't even watch the other seasons... |

| I've wanted to check this out for quite some time, but it was never summer...so now is the time. I liked the first episode, a calm experience, heavily relying on the atmosphere. I love these kind of shows. 4/5. |

| Calming, but also a bit dragged on and boring. Though it did pick up a bit when she rowed backwards. XD I fell in love with the opening song. <3 But... rowing a gondola is freakin' hard. They make it look easy. |
