| Back in the first season, Belldandy kind of boasted her knowledge of Earth holidays, but she has yet to come across one that she is actually familiar with. It caused trouble before because she was unfamiliar with Valentine's Day, but Christmas? Come on. That being said, I've seen episodes of this sort before elsewhere, a protagonist taking on all these extra jobs for extra money to buy an expensive gift, all the while his partner feels kind of ignored. |

| Just plain *cute*! I'm a sucker for Christmas episodes of anything, and this one especially warmed my heart (in a series that never fails to make me go "awww".). I just love how Belldandy and Keichii have grown in their love without taking it too fast, and it seems some of her kindness toward everyone, even unpleasant people, has rubbed off on him as well. I loved his conversation with Sayoko: he probably knows her better than she knows herself, and there was a small moment when it seemed he'd managed to get through her snobbishness to the humanity within. |

| This sure was totally different than the OVA, a lot more lovely I'd say as well as in the OVA it was rather depressive, but well this was a happy ending so let's see what's next. |

| I mean, it was obvious he was going to get the ring by he end of the episode to give to her, but that scene where he was just laying in that leaf pile after he couldn't get the balloon made me start to tear up for a second. Like that whole scene was just a man who was entirely defeated. He couldn't even cry. He was just sitting their with a half smile on his face because of how destroyed he was and how nothing ever works out for him. We knew he was going to get the ring right then and there, but it was still sad as fuck. |

| Nice episode. Belldandy is such a waifu tier. A total opposite of my ex-gf who was a nightmare. I would've done the same thing for Belldandy too. She's worth the blood and sweat. It's so unfortunate girls like these do not exist in reality hahaha |

| Too sweet! But 200,000 yen for a ring for a broke college student with a barely acknowledged girlfriend?! Sure, why not. The ova did it better, and at a more reasonable 50k. |
