DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh man, these re-cap fillers and the old music really make me want to re-watch Naruto, I enjoyed this past month of Shippuuden. Next week the war is about to start, epic shit incoming. The studio will have a hard job animating all the battles but they did a great job with the Pain fight back then, so I will believe in them. |

| It was alright. The Naruto main OST at the end didn't quite fit the mood though. But I guess that it was alright since it fitted well to the "rushed as fuck" feeling the ep had. Kinda disappointed that they didn't use this opportunity to give us a (proper) new version of the final battle. But I can't really complain since the original is great enough anyways. 3/5 The whole recap thing was pretty nice overall. Definitely prefer it to fillers. |

| Shame they didn't show everything of that fight since it still is one of the best fights in the Naruto series tho it's nice to see something from that fight again. It was a great arc with one of the most awesome bad guys in Naruto Kimimaro who gave both Gara and Lee a bad time. |

So many characters get to participate in the upcoming war, far more then any other arc in the whole series. Quite alot of surprises, revelations, awesome action, need i say more? My only hope is that that they are able to animate it correctly. The war arc has some of the most epic scale battles seen thus far in the series with some destructive planetary jutsu's. I just hope that the production team is able to animate it and not end up with any inconsistencies, thats my only gripe. At least this opening won't be for the entirety of the war arc. In fact thier may be even like 3 openings for this arc. |

| Ah, I'll admit I shed a few tears when Naruto was having that monologue in his head during the fight </3 Sometimes I think, what if they were able to bring Sasuke back... :'(\) This adaption lost most of the emotion, as expected. The fight didn't have the same pain and sadness, but it was still epic. I also was so annoyed by them not including the scene where Sasuke leaves Sakura -_-" Overall though, I enjoyed this last month of fillers. They were actually really refreshing, but, being the Naruto nerd I am, I watched some of those old episodes a month ago so the fillers were kind of tedious at times. I'm happy to be getting back to the war though! I've heard that Sasuke doesn't come in for a while though, so I'm a bit disappointed at that. :( 3/5 - Not a great adaption~~ They could've done a better job w/the music and left in some of the more emotional parts rather than just the fight. But it was still enjoyable :) |

| This just reminded me how amazing the Rescue Sasuke arc was - definitely the best arc in Naruto, and the Naruto v Sasuke fight is probably only second to the Zabuza fight. |

| Oh man, now I really wanna re watch the Sasuke Retrieval Arc...it's my favorite anime arc for a reason. I just wish that they weren't constricted to fitting the entire arc into one episode so we could see more of the fights. The drunk Rock Lee vs Kimimaro fight is still my favorite Naruto fight by a long shot. |

| I loved those recaps, to be honest I prefer them than Naruto's normal fillrs (like those about Naruto on the ship, god, it was horrible). Especially Naruto vs Sasuke was delicious to watch :D Well, that arc had probably the best fights in first Naruto, it's a shame that they didn't show Neji's or Kimimaro's fight :< And there wasn't time for Team 7 vs Haku & Zabuza, it's a little disappointing too. But, overall, good episodes, 5/5 :D |

| Was a good reminder of what Naruto is fighting for and how Sasuke used to be.. Glad this is the last flashback episode though for sure, they were good because of the new monologues and reanimation but it's just badly timed for where we're at in the story. |
