| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Still loving the opening tune to this anime. Always gets my head bopping along with the beat haha :D. Detective Inspector Sayama, who interviewed Jin as a kid, is back and seems to be somewhat of a fatherly figure for Jin awww :). Hanako, the pink haired girl from the preview, becomes an eyewitness to a Player that turns its victims into froth...LOLWHUT :P. I think it's quite rare that we get to see a female anime character that wears braces. Actually feels quite refreshing to have someone who doesn't have perfect teeth XD. Jin saves her life (for 10,000 Yen of course LOOOL XD) and then we get some awesome action scenes with him eating this gum to help activate his Zetman powers in a fight against the Player of the week. Episode ends with Jin getting stabbed by the white hooded guy who works for Haitani. NOOOOO CLIFFIE!!! :O Next time: It appears Konoha gets kidnapped and waits to get rescued...seriously?! I really hope that she at least attempts to fight back against her captors or I will not be amused ಠ_ಠ. Anyway, I'm much more interested to see what's happened to Jin because he is easily the best character for me. I mean he's a great cook! Come on, who doesn't find that irresistible in a guy :). |

The episode was pretty cool in the beginning and it ended spectacularly to say the least with the monster in the following, Now that was some sick ass shit. What it did to one of the humans in the following spoiler Regardless OMG ZET in the spoiler In thee end Zet in the following,  WTF? Why? I though the guy was on Zet’s side? Is he like going to vaporize? I hope not but then all other shits this guy did, they all vanished and got removed of existence. About the preview, from the looks of following spoiler About the manga spoiler, ONCE AGAIN EXCELLENT GORE! Really deserves a good scream for that. I could even see the intestines and stomach of the monster. Hmmmm, gore-luscious? I think so. |

| Decent fight scene. Looks like Jin is starting to get stronger. Really hoping to see something match the 1st ep though, this has gone downhill a bit since then. :( Really not getting into how well this flows right now. >.< |

| Im loving the series and the new female character too. Now we get another lovable female character adding to Auntie. The fight was nice...kinda short but w/e. |

| Is it just me or is the plot jumping around too much for comfort? Episode 3/5. I dropped my rating of the show from 8 to 7. If this plot doesn't get better, I might end up dropping it. |

| Is Jins normal form White now? i thought it was suppose to be red and black just like in the ending,and this Sweeper seems kinda strong didn't really think he was a ally but just someone keeping Order among the players. |

No way 20 minutes are enough for that, though. This is really ridculously fast paced, so much that I can't get myself to fully appreciate everything. Great to see Hanako, Konoha meeting Jin again, Hayami that bastard influencing Kouga, the Sweeper doing his job and ZET of course but it just happens so fast. I'm really wondering about the climax, I can't tell which part it will cover, especially since I don't know what happens in volume 16 and 17 but my guess is Haitani, the OP I'm addicted to more or less confirms it. |

 Dots and Lines, the OP has grown on me. I like the singers voices as well as the beat and the animation when they go da da da da. Jin's personality and lines really make this anime special. Actually I think it makes him pretty unique, most other anime mains are talkative or border on being really animated to complement their explosive fighting styles, while he is more toned down yet still adept at fighting. Likable. The conversation with the man in the police station, when they were outside, was my favorite non battle scene thus far. Jin is really sentimental and caring. |

| The OP to me is still the absolute worst I've ever heard in an anime series... I can't get why so many ppl seem to like it but hey, each to their own... As far as the actual series goes... it's certainly not a very good adaptation (though I haven't read the actual manga, but judging how fast it rushes through chapters it is pretty obvious) but still... however bad an adaptation it is, I can't bring myself to like the story... It's yet another story about a secret experiment regarding superhuman beings, we have seen these only what, 9001 times already... I'd love to comment about character interactions... but we haven't seen any substancial ones so far. and the battles... They are boring as hell, but at least are somewhat realistic and flow well with the story... that is, they would if they didn't pull that observation team nonsense. I mean, seriously, a guy fighting while a whole crew behind the scenes is "comentating" with lots of computers and stuff... I thought we'd gotten past this stupid gimmick since NGE in the damn '90s, at least noone is screaming numbers with an annoying voice as if nothing special was happening while people around him are disintegrating, like in NGE... Hope this gets better. And I hope Kouga dies soon because he's the most annoying main character since Black Star... |

| The old police officer seem to care about him and he acknowledges that fact. And that at least he knows somebody still cares for him. Where's Auntie anyway? Did they fix her face and she get reunited with her kid? She may not be relevant on the story now but I sill want to know later in this anime series that she's OK or something, Oh crap the Sweeper got him too! |

| The manga was butchered so bad at this part SPOILERS CAREFUL -Kouga goes through a whole CHUNK of the manga trying to become a hero and loses his arm. The creepy old guy that shows up when Kouga is told he's getting a suit is supposed to be dead and the reason for a big part of Kouga's plot -Kouga shouldn't have his arm, he loses it and tons of people die traumatizing him. He only saves one girl. So much butchering of the plot that this isn't even Zetman anymore... |
