It's a shame it was a stupid fight. Hopefully next chapter will explain exactly what the King's guy is planning. All this ambiguity. Little patience for it at 1AM. And give me day 3 (or 4. I've forgotten atm) of the fights already. Erza better have a match. Heck, she can be in the tag team with Wendy. That'll work. Just give me my Erza fight. |

| That was a pretty decent chapter. And of course Mirajane won. I liked how she went along with the wager like she was a pool shark baiting her prey. I have to wonder what's so special about Lucy though. |

| Pretty decent chapter but the fight to finish so quickly was not other then lame. I really hope anime extends this battle. The fanservice was mind-blowing, of course. <3 |

No, I think it's new but Erza simply recognized it as Satan's Soul. So much fan service, I would lie if I said I didn't like it. I hate that Arcadios guy, Natsu should punch him right in his face. I guess they will use Lucy to open up the gate to the Stellar Spirit dimension (what was the exact name?) and use their magic or something like that. Did you see the color pages? Behind them was a fucking dragon, I wonder which dragon it is. Oh my god, it would be crazy if the bad guys wanted to summon a dragon, Acnologia would be the worst. |

| It's becoming much clearer why Fairy Tail has the 'Ecchi' tag to someone who started reading the manga at episode 107. Man, the anime cuts out so much. That being said, the plot thickens. Fairy Tail is the one shounen manga I openly admit to still reading. 5/5 C: |

| Nothing really surprising in this episode (aside form the fanservice part). It was nice to see more about the evil plan to destroy the world (not like it could have been anything else). But what bothers me, is that FT is slowly becoming cliche ecchi fighting shounen. Those new very cliche (but still interesting) villains don't really help it. Elfman x Evergreen moments were the only highlight of this chapter. It's going to be a huge let down if they don't become a couple. To all people that complain about fanservice; why the hell did you read it then? I skipped it for example. And don't go about making Mirajane fight longer. I think we've seen enough to know that she doesn't like/want to fight. So why the hell would you want to force that on her? Besides, think about it. If that tournament is something very popular and watched outside of the arena, then the organisers would probably want to attract more audience. What better way is there to do that then let 2 popular and hot girls have swimsuit fight? :-P I see it as a very good marketing move. |

| I personally found the chapter average,but I do have to admit:Hiro isn't taking these fights seriously. It's a tournament to be the #1 guild in the country (which I still find stupid) & it's feel more pointless now because the evil forces behind the scenes are more important & these actual events aren't that serious. Let's just move on to the eclipse because this tournament is not worth it. |

I waited so many chapters for Mira to be called.. and this is what I got = __ = Not as surprising that almost nothing happened during the battle, Mashima's been intent on not giving us a full versus battle for a while now. I guess just didn't expect this level of fanservice in replacement of what could've been a good battle x.x |

| The fanservice will gain it's fair share of attention (especially in anime) and is an easy way to fill in space when no fight scene material comes to the authors mind - fair enough, but a shame really, Mira is one of my fav's. :( I'm quite greatful for these longer chapters. I hope this recent Charlie vision is wrapped up soon - gaurentee (99%) Lucy isn't in danger, so hopefully, this spells development. | Mira vs Jenny, the best showdown in Fairy Tail, hands down. ^^ FINALLY people around Elfman are acknowledging him properly, took them long enough. That Raven Tail mage has a pretty annoying ability too, being able to zap magic down to zero. I hope he gets dealt with early on, hopefully by Sting. So Fairy Tail pulls a gate of truth rip-off from FMA too now. Although, this "eclipse" is getting interesting. Unfortunately for the antagonists, they didn't include the possibility of Lucy being "special" in their calculations |

In my opinion, it may have been that: 1) Elfman refused to be healed via magic, but rather chose to struggle with his injuries which does indeed fit his character (being a stubborn, enduring, thickheaded muscle man) and his perception of "manliness" 2) The extent of damage that Elfman was dealt must have required a lengthy healing session which most likely would put an enormous drain on Wendy who had just recovered herself. As for Edo-Gradine, she is most likely drained and exhausted as well from nursing and healing Wendy & Natsu earlier on. 3) Elfman's role in the tournament is most likely over anyway, since each team has 5 members, and there are 5 battles spread over 5 days. Fairy Tail may have simply chose to conserve their endurance/magic for the remainder of the tournament. 4) Wendy was the original member of the team, so putting her back in was always a given once she recovered. Elfman was a temporary replacement; thus healing him or not would not have made a difference. |

Mirajane and Jenny in bikini swimwear and that condition where the loser would have to pose nude for a magazine. Lmao, definitely luring in males for sure. I bet girls would be like "wtf!". xD However that part where Mirajane transforms to her demon form was awesome. Her demon form is so intimidating and better tbh heh >=D Despite the unnecessary fan service, I still enjoyed the chapter. :P 4/5 |

As for special....I'd say they are banking on Lucy being special. They are targeting specifically her. Not the other spirit mages we know that are far more easily accessible. Fai, I have read a lot of your FF6 - Fairy Tail theories, could you care to elaborate more on this particular scenario? ? Terra's backstory(on her being half-esper and the gates between the worlds) with her freakout and transformation used for Lucy plotline as the end of this arc, leading to "lets find Lucy" arc. |

| This chapter took me so long to read and I have no idea why... It was so hard not to focus on every detail in this chapter. Only downside of so many fans service pages is that it cut down on the interesting fight and new power that Mira has. Makes me think that Bacchus loosing to Elfman saved him lots of pain that one night. Mira had that strange look in her eyes when Bacchus offered that "one night" thing. If he did win Mira would have so much fun teaching him how to treat girls =D Do you think Mira misunderstood the final form change from the other girl? It was to show which one looks better but Mira just changed and crushed her with a surprise attack. With so many big distractions I haven't noticed anything important to the plot. Was there something like that? Also on color page Wendy with those spread little hands looked cute. All it's missing there is Leonardo and "ship of dreams". |
