| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Main character has a fear for people to the extend that his face changes. And Haru's miracles with fishes!! OP is cool. Very nice place near the sea (island near Yokohama). Haru's been traveling alone and he came suddenly to the main character and his mother's house (Haru's not so annoying as the PV was shown). lol~ Haru's fishing that main guy!! And he wants to be his friend! Megane prince, and good at fishing, too? and helping out with the main character's mother's shop?? Haru has a magical water gun that controls people? Main character's grandmother is Fumi Hirano (Rum)? Such a young an nice grandmother. Saving the world thing? ED is nice~ (lol @ the "preview" part at Sakamichi no Apollon using a scene from ep.1) |

| Yuki has communication problems, feelining like he drowns when talking to other peolpe. I like it, because I thought he was going to be an antisocial emo character - not disappointed at all. His faces are funny. Haru doesn't know how to talk very well (Boku! Haru! Uchuujin!) he's funny especially when close to Yuki. And he LOVES fishing. She's not his mom, she's his grandmother. This was really fun to watch, I really want episode 2 right now. Uki's desings are pretty cool. OP is cool. I liked the ED. Now I want to eat some fish... |
| It looks gorgeous, Yuki has serious social issues, Haru is definitely an alien but it's unreal that he is going to live with Yuki just like that and I hope the girl is part of the main cast. |
| I love the distinctive artstyle and especially the design of the buildings. There is an addicting quirkiness to this anime, partly because of the aforementioned aspects but also the BGM and the vibrant colours but mainly because of the characters. What a coincidence that both Noitamina shows this season start off with a student transferring to another city, in both cases individuals who have difficulties to fit in a new environment and dealing with their peers. |

| Weird one really bizarre - both on visual and plot levels but I really like the animation and backgrounds, they have certain climate characters - they are fine, ok a bit irritating Yuki but he may get better and of course grandma, with certain weird ideas but she is likable :) |
| This was one of my most awaited series this season. Enjoying it very much so far, so vibrant and colorful. Haru seems to be a fun character and oh man Yuki. Looks so weird when... he gets nervous? or something. Fun episode will be keeping up. |

| OMG I really like this for some unknown reason LOL The Indian dudes with the duck was really random hahaha Interaction between Haru and Yuki were pretty cute but I swear Haru's water gun has some magic in it LOL the Grandma's really nice to let Haru stay with them and she's quite retro too lulz Ouji is too pro lolz Looks like Yuki's found a friend and something he's gonna be interested in |

| THAT ART STYLE. TOO MUCH. Loved the many different colors used. The main character, Yuki, is interesting. I love how they portray his fear. Unrealistic how Haru was able to live with the two... did the water gun play a role in that? And Sugita Tomokazu~ Too bad all I could hear was Gintoki ;) |

| Random, strange, colorful, unique.. yeah, like it so far. Not sure about Haru though, I don't like overly enthusiastic characters (they tend to annoy me) but the series is interesting. |
| Love the characters and story. Hope it stays this good and don't go downhill easily 5/5. Loved how they portrayed Yuki's fear of communicating. |

| Different from what I expected, especially that animation. Natsuki: "Call me Prince at school and I'll kill you." <3 Looks like a fun anime. Why only 11 episodes? The water gun... :D I like Haru's power over fishies. Opening and ending are cute! Animation not so much, but the songs are great. 5/5 I knew I was going to like this anime! :3 |
| Very interesting to say the least. I'm strongly hoping for both the girl he also met on the train and the guy with the duck become main cast characters instead of just supporting. Loved the social difficulty metaphors. The backgrounds were the one big thing that failed to convince me. Maybe those will grow on me, but as far as i can tell, they look like landscape photos simplified to have lesser photographic detail, and then a photoshop layer of "Plastic Wrap" filter added on top of the simplified surfaces to simulate artistic detail. |

| This is, along with Sakamichi no Apollon, the most pleasant surprise so far. I love the vibrant colors and the fact that Yuki LITERALLY drowns. Also the duck is pretty random and I love it. The characters are alright, the setting is great and the style is really creative and different, so that's also a plus. |

| Well, that was weird... Not exactly my style. Neither story nor characters were able to hook me (even though Sugita-sama is part of the cast). I think I'll still watch at least the next episode, since I love Enoshima and its surroundings. The scenery is great and I recognized many places in the anime. The funny thing: While passing the train station I always wondered whether there was a school nearby. Now I found the answer... In an anime. xD |

| Really colorful and strange, expected nothing less from this director. Really enjoyable first episode. Was expecting perhaps a slightly whinier MC, so that was a pleasant surprise. Haru is wonderfully weird. 5/5 - Loved both the Noitamina shows this season. Really makes up for the fail that was Guilty Crown. |

| Phenomenal episode, I want to be in Enoshima so bad right now. Nakamura really is one of the best directors of Japanese animation, his experimental stuff is so great, and coupled with slice-of-life à la Arakawa Under The Bridge... Splendid. |

I was totally thinking about it while I was watching Tsuritama! (+ we've got a Yuki in Tsuritama too! LOL) Anyway, nice character design <3 and I love the setting :D |
