| This test looks like it might be the best so far. I knew Gon was going to pick out Hisoka straight away too ;) |

| for a second i had a feeling it was actually gonna be the opposite hisoka chasing gon, or their both each others target. |

| Sort of surprised that the guy hunting Gon let him off. Is it because he woke up or because he was having second thoughts and feeling some remorse or something? Can't believe Gon was so unconcerned with the fact that he's someone else's target. Didn't even seem like it crossed his mind, actually. |
| Feeling: Expectance, Thrill LAST part of the exam is going to start!!! That gave me some expectation about whats next, also... Gon pursuin Hisoka? O.O BTW that girl so cheerfully saying "if you fail, please try it next time" was my LOL for this ep. The first hunt, the one Gon saw on the tree was thrilling, and the back music was really good for suspense XD And i loved the part when Gon learned from the nature itself how to catch a moving target!!! You know, in the middle of chapter i thought... How would examiners verify the number they hunted was the number they took out? cuz hunters could easily steal a person's number and the card he took out of the box, so he would get a new target, maybe easier to get!!!!!! Am i wrong? Overall: A great start for the new phase of the exam, lets see if Gon is smart enough to change his target |
| Hisoka isn't worst case target. I think it would be worse if one of his friends would be his target. Anyway, Hisoka isn't a pushover and Gon knows it, but still has very good attitude and hads't a single thought about giving up, but trying to think about ways to get his target instead. |
| Im surprised no one compared this to the chunnin exam again since this is exatly what happened in the forest! And in this episode the similarity to Naruto is much bigger! Anyway, we've had comedy, action, adventure, mystery, thrills and now so much damn suspense! Man that "hunting" scene was perfect! Wind blowing and all! |

I think you mean Naruto is very similar to this, since Hunter x Hunter came before Naruto. |

| Interesting dynamic with this 4th Phase considering all the lovey-dovey feels from the filler eps. 2011 ver. was more exciting/to the point, but the emotional resonance was stronger here -- a nice change! The change in setting to a battleship made Killua and Gon's little talk more dynamic, too. Love Gon's dream to bring us back to Mito. Sometimes it feels like Gon is a sociopath despite textual evidence to the contrary, so that bit where he thinks about his promise and hugging her brought the aww's out. :) |

| The next phase became really interesting, and a great filter to finally have less people. Hisoka is a damn difficult objective, but as Gon said, he only needs the plaque. That Geretta is not gonna obtain something from Gon, I think they’re like, in the same level, but I notice Gon too much with his guard down. Fucking Tonpa. |
