Some anime or specific group/encodes can be very difficult to come by so I generally don't delete. I have 4 external HDD now, 1 salvaged and 1 old HDD. I just recently bought my 2nd 2TB.

The only time I deleted one was Claymore, which in my opinion totally sucked. (Don't know why, but after watching Berserk, my expectations seemed to be too high...). After watching 4 episodes or so, the files simply went to /dev/null.

I'm so mean.
What's the point of keeping the downloads? Its not like you payed for it or own the dvds or anything.

I delete them. It's a waste of space, on my laptop.
On my deskptop I have 1 terrabyte (however you spell that) of hard drive memory, so I don't give a fuck so much on the desktop.

Since I rarely rewatch stuff, I always delete the stuff I'm watching. Except if it was hard to get. The only things I'm keeping are oldschool unsubbed RAWs. I don't really need to keep the subbed ones as I can download them again if I need them.

I don't delete it if I'm sure I will rewatch it at some point in life. And if I'm unsure about that, I keep it until I decide.

I only download anime for gif making purposes, so I don't mind deleting it. AND, even if I downloaded it to watch it, which I have done a couple of times, I still delete it. I don't see why would it be necessary to keep it there if I won't ever touch it again, since I hardly rewatch anime.

I'd rather buy another Hard Drive.
I'm currently on 2TB Anime / 6TB Total.
The only time I ever delete anime is when I remove the HDTV copy after replacing it with the BD-Rip.

I hope to one day earn enough money to build a 100TB file server and a 100TB mirrored backup server.

This except that i'm only have 2.5 TB total.

I don't delete anime. I only download anime if I can't find it anywhere else or if it's hentai anyway. I don't like wasting time downloading if I'm never going to watch it again.

Once I finish watching anime, I delete it right after. I hardly rewatch an entire series and the space could be used for other things.

Anything I gave a rating of 4/10 or less, I do not archive on my external HDDs. Also anything I downloaded a long time ago, which were usually DVD quality... have been deleted as soon as a BD version of it (with FLAC audio) has been released. No point in keeping crappy video and audio quality, when there are better alternatives.

I have a 2TB HD so I have a lot of archiving room :P

Since when 2TB is a lot of archiving room? I have 6TB + a 500GB external and I have problems finding space for stuff. :| started to download 480p and not BR just to manage.

Anyway, back to topic, I delete stuff that I found VERY bad (11eyes <_<).

after long process of downloading and waitting, do you dare to delete anime you've downloaded??

in my opinion, it is the hardest thing to do, but keeping lot of anime series needs a lot storage

what do you think??

Its not hard to do, its just highlight, right click, delete, then empty recycle bin.

With the internet being faster then modem speeds, its alot easier to get them back, unless your talking about dead torrents, with no seeds.

Nope. The only time I ever delete things I download is when I am running out of room, and I go through my torrent drives and start deleting all the un-rar'd files. Just did a sweep recently freed up almost a TB so i'm good for a few more months. If I run out of space, I'll just add more drives.

I've got 600GB of Chinese girl cartoons on my 1,3TB external HDD. Sadly, I can't put anything on it anymore(for some reason..)But it still works outside of that.

That aside, I also have a 2TB HDD on my pc. and 2 500GB HDD's from my old pc which I could turn into a external HDD.
But I could always delete my 5 and lower rated series, I doubt i'll ever rewatch them.

My internal HDD is big enough, so i'm not really at a point where i have to delete anything to make up space. Plus i have crapload of old externals that i still think they work. Grouped in with most people, i also like to archive what i've dled.

I delete a show when I know I won't watch it ever again, but I store shows which I liked. I haven't watched enough anime to run out of place of my disk, but when it happens...It will be a tough choice.
