| Could someone tell me in what order should i watch all of the Lupin the third content? Is it ok to watch the main 3 tv series first, and then move on to the ovas, specials, movies, or is there a preferred viewing order? Thanks. |
| I don't know, it's all so episodic it's not a big deal... If I had any suggestions, I would say watch the first series first, and then really after that it doesn't matter. Maybe some of the second series but that's only because the music from that really stuck, it's not vital or anything. |

Well there's certainly nothing wrong with it, I just don't think it very much matters with Lupin. On the other hand, I don't know, there is a whole lot of Lupin stuff and it is not all equally good. Watching in production order might turn you off to going further, before you get to some of the better installments. |

| There is no problem if you'll watch them later. Lupin plot in the most of the adaptations is rather episodic so don't need to worry : ) |
| Can i ask something else ? The new seasons of Lupin III ( Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna) can we watch them separately ? I heard somewhere that it has different story from the original. |
| It's prequel to the original series, a bit more mature and noire than the other ones, but personally I love Fujiko to iu onna the most of the all Lupin adaptations (it's even in my anime top 10), so I highly recommend it ;] No problem in watching it even if someone is new to the Lupin franchise. |
| Lupin III has been on my plan to watch for a while, and now that part 6 got announced, I really want to start. I know there's TV series, Movies, OVAs, and specials dedicated to this franchise. What order would you recommend? |
| Lupin III Series 1 - the beginning Lupin III Castle of Cagliostro - The Miyazaki directed movie, set the standard for what most Lupin specials and series would be like afterwards. Lupin III First Contact - A special which gives you a good idea of the general character dynamics of the main cast. Lupin III (2015) - Aka Part 4 the best place to start from a modern standpoint when it comes to Lupin. The series is almost entirely episodic and standalone, but these are probably the best entry points. |
| Afaik Lupin is mostly episodic, except for the ones that are direct sequels of one another (like Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna and the subsequent movies). The ones mentioned by VanishingKira are probably good starting points, the franchise is far too big to be watched in release order anyway. |
