| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The anime I am anticipating the most in the the real deal of love of a human and zombie. Where most animes fail this anime succeeds in that notion. Put it this way male MC does not like any girl other than one being a zombie. Never before I have seen something like that. Truly Chihiro is one guy I admire for his true guts in his love for zombies. Rea is well done. No problem there and in fact I think she is more MOE than the manga. What really made me happy of the OP is the following,  Hands down my favorite girl and sadly she never gets enough justice in the manga ever. Sad but she is made way more MOE than I though. A good job and best loli of this series. Other than that my final advice for non manga readers, if you DROP this, you will make the biggest regret of your life in the new fad of “True Love for Zombies.” This series is the closest that is recent and has a Guy x Girl relationship that the girl is a zombie and the guy does not give a fuck of real girls. To him all are 3D pig disgusting except for Zombies. Kind of like attitude. I can assure you having read the manga far that it’s really pure love and the OP in the following,  clearly shows that. Remains to see of the setup in which it occurs. So far the end of the episode starts it out hot. I hope people take my word for the romance because it’s the most intense I have seen that is exactly like love one would have for a girl. That being said I am glad to far with my 2nd anime of this Thursday. Might edit later. BTW Image Stitches are done in the spoiler |

| I was not planning to watch this, but it was on TBS, which Acchi Kocchi was aired and I heard Kimura Ryohei's voice for the main character, so I tried ep.1. Wow, it shows how a girl becoming zombie with the main character's request as a remorse to his cat's death. |

| One of the few shows that I've read the manga beforehand so this will be an interesting to watch how closely the anime follows the manga. So far, chapter 1 was covered. |

| It was really nice episode. I didn't enjoy the opening, i doesn't suit to anime. Seiyuu work is done nicely. Uchida Maaya (Rea) lack of experience, but despite of this she done quite well. Graphic is really good, lots of details, let's say 8/10. Music presents similar level. I enjoyed the episode (especialy second part). |
| I liked the first episode, main protagonist is essentially awesome. Not the cliche perverted necrophiliac the synopsis made him out to be; more of the apathetically awesome guy. |

| I'm impressed! The first episode was a damn good interpretation of the beginning of the manga series. I liked the animation better than I expected, Chihiro's voice actor is very good, and they captured the ominous feeling of the serious parts quite well. And they even avoided making Wanko too irritating. LOL Now the question will be - what can the animation team achieve in so few episodes, particularly when the manga is still on-going? |

| Good episode,time for some zombies!! Good adaptation from the manga,even that the beginning there were filler scene i think they wrap it pretty well and add something good to the anime. The OP and ED are pretty good specially liked the OP and the animation on it is pretty nice. Hope they keep Furuya personality intact i really like him in the manga even that i feel a little less of him animated maybe is the hour or just me....he can be the MC of the season without doubt. Then watching Rea animated...GREAT!! I really love her she is extra cute and she will get even more cute as the episodes go!! Well lets see how it goes from here hopefully they wont change many things and make episodes full of fillers. 1st episode approve!!  Also Jogorou....you make me laugh as always!! |

| just like Medaka Box ive had the manga in my list to read for the longest while but when i heard about an anime being released for them i held of on reading them ive been itching to read it but i waited patiently. I'll give myself a clap. |

| Haven't read the manga but she might not be a zombie at the end, just dying. The concoction he's working on to revive babu is going to be used on her which will turn her into a zombie. I like the show so far, very interesting. Personally, Chihiro is an interesting character, he's not all "I'm a useless every other dude" type of guy, at least doesn't seem to be in the first episode. His character style is nice, the hair is supposed to make him look like a cat filling in some occult throwback maybe. Cat characters are usually chicks and a cat looking necrophiliac is just begging for some good jokes worked in. |

| Wow, the whole time I was watching this episode I kept thinking to myself, "this has to be a Silver Link/Oonuma Shin show," so imagine my surprise when it is from Studio DEEN of all people. Really enjoyed it, can't wait for more. |

| The whole episode looked incredibly SHAFT-esque with its unusual camera angles and body close-ups. Also, it looked surpisingly well produced for a DEEN series. I heard the director Mamoru Hatakeyama is a pseudonym for Shinichi Omata who worked at SHAFT so that would explain the similarities. Overall, the first episode still felt quite generic with the whining best male friend, the love triangle and the rich girl yearning for freedom but that's more due to the source material than anything. While this is a pity we're still in for a lot of eyecandy at least. |

| totally great first episode - this could work out to be my favorite of the season (especially since all the other new show have been fairly average) - beautiful art, great characters, humor, and just the right amount of the grotesque - can't wait fer next week! |

| Love the voice actors in this. As a manga reader thos was one of myust sees. Only part i saw that didnt follow manga was intro of Ranko. Good adaptation so far |
