I found myself smiling all the way through the episode. None of the new spring series really caught my interest yet, but Shirokuma Café seems promising with its cute and light style. I'm glad the animals look natural rather than cartoony, it's still really easy to recognize the expressions they are trying to show.
Anyone who has experienced the hardship in looking for a part time job would find the scenes with Panda really unbearable to watch - in a funny and adorable way :3
the voiceacting is basically just a display of why the actors are as well known as they are. the cast is just amazing, the entire show is perfectly understated but still completely charming. i watched this just out of curiosity as to how ridiculous it could be but it's actually spectacular! i definitely relate to panda, especially now when i'm in between jobs and dying because of the end of the sememster.
Liked it...only thing I really hated were all those word jokes between the penguin and the polar bear. Just because they mostly don't work in any other languages than japanese. And I kinda wondered: If every animal is named after their species (Mandrill, Panda, Polar Bear etc.), than what is the name of the pandas mother or the full-time panda in the zoo? Are they also just called panda?
All of that pandaring --
Should've gone for the tuna boat, man.
I was actually really looking forward to this show. I'm glad I really enjoyed it; one of the most adorable things I've seen in a while, and quite funny at times too. It was slow-paced, though. But at the very least, it's a very feel-good show. I do hope it picks up a bit later on.
Also, wow, that opening, haha.
And the ending too.
Sucsh a amazing anime!! I enjoyed the opening song a lot! and the whole episode was hilarious, I laughed out loud at least twice xD All the characters are great.
Glad it has lots of episodes, and hopefully it keeps up the good pace, and doesn't seem repetitive.
