According to the official website, the cast of Little Busters! anime was announced. The seiyu of the protagonist Naoe Riki hasn't been revealed yet. Although some of the cast appear differently from what was credited in the original game, they are the same seiyu with different stage names. An interview with one of the staff of the production studio will be published in Dengeki Visual Arts magazine to be released on April 10th.

Cast
Natsume Rin: Tamiyasu Tomoe
Natsume Kyosuke: Midorikawa Hikaru
Inohara Masato: Canna Nobutoshi
Miyazawa Kengo: Oda Yusei
Kamikita Komari: Yanase Natsumi
Saigusa Haruka: Suzuki Keiko
Nomi Kudrjavka: Wakabayashi Naomi
Kurugaya Yuiko: Tanaka Ryoko
Nishizono Mio: Kawaragi Shiho

According to the web column on Akiba Blog, the President of Visual Arts said he was surprised by the leak but hasn't got mad at Dengeki. He felt sorry that the staff of Dengeki were flurried to see the "idiot" message on the twitter icon of the President. He said the turmoil over the leak has made no harm to him, rather promoted the TV anime well.

Same seiyuus is a massive win.

Wonder why Saya (who was in the PV) Sasami and Kanata aren't listed though...

It's not really the same style, and thank god for that (sometimes I couldn't stand Tomoya).

Only original VN's main cast was confirmed. I don't think they confirmed the EX routes were covered either besides the glimpse of Saya in the trailer. My guess is they will go for the same actors for Sasami or Kanata since they're already well-involved in the original stories.

Now I wonder who will be Riki's VA, and which animation studio is making it...
Argh, 5 days left.

The fact that Saya only appears in EX should be enough confirmation that content from EX will be animated.

There's no actual details from the studio itself until the magazine article so I mostly just don't want to jump into conclusions.

Considering how the original cast is going to be in the anime, wouldn't it make sense to have Riki's voice be the same seiyuu from the VN too?

This needs to run for 2 seasons of 24 eps each otherwise there's not enough room for content

He had partial voice acting in VN so it would be the best choice

He didn't sound very good imo and it would be a lot of work for the seiyuu, so I actually hope they will change that one.

The VA of Riki also voiced Rin Natsume. Now wouldn't that be a little awkward.....

Their voices are distinctly different, how would it be awkward? Plus if Sasami is in it (which she should be) and assuming she keeps the same seiyuu (which would be preferential) she would also have the same seiyuu as Rin.

Excellent. But will Sasami's voice change? That'll be weird, but at the same time I can't really see them using the same VA for two characters.

Studio revealed on April 10th, huh? I've kind of given up all hope on it being KyoAni. ;_;

Because she would be having a large majority of conversations with herself. Rin and Riki are the main protagonists. It's fine for Rin and Sasami to share an actress, Sasami is a side-character (except on her EX route but that was added later) so that is fine but between RIn and Riki she would have an staggering amount of dialogue to record. That is just overworking. In the VN it was probably not as big a deal since Riki was only voiced in the mini-games and in part of Refrain which is probably not even 1/5 of his dialogue in total.

Yes, this is great news. As for Riki, I wouldn't mind a different seiyuu, since I wasn't really a fan of his overly female voice.

Eventhough we all now it won't be KyoAni, I'm still kinda hoping for a miracle. If it's not them, it better be PA Works. I think they would be the only ones able to do an equally amazing job as KyoAni did with the previous Key works.

I'm glad the original cast is here kind of like what they did with Mashiroiro Symphony and Shukufuku no Campanella.

Great, same seiyuus. My question is who will voice Riki though. It seems Tamiyasu Tomoe won't voice Riki again.

Very Great. Now, let the studio to be P.A or KyoAni and I'll be a happy boy for a year...

Ah, and a faithful 2 cour season plus 1 cour season for Refrain would made me happy for all eternity, I guess...

Assuming they animate EX (which they should, since Saya was in the PV) there are four characters not listed, the MC Riki Naoe, Sasami Sasasegawa, Kanata Futaki, and Saya Tokido.

Riki and Sasami both share the same seiyuu as Rin in the VNs, so it will be interesting to see if she voices all three here as well.

the only time you can hear Riki's voice in VN is during practice and fights, so even if his voice will be changed it won't be a big deal, meaby they still don't know who should voice him so he isn't on the list... well I really glad that others are not changed as everyone (for me atleast) fit their role.

BTW who do you think should be Seiyuu??

Alright, this is looking better and better! I'm relieved to hear that I won't have to get used to a different voice for anyone (except for possibly Riki).

Little buster's VN was better than clannad, both anime and VN, it was quite popular and it still is, kind of...lol

Ah well... I am Clannad fan so nothing will be as good as it. Also there are other reasons I like Clannad, not just story...

Great new

and Clannad AS is already #1 of my top anime, and IMO Little Busters > Clannad, so I really hope they will make it as awesome as the original.

Wrong, You can hear Riki's voice in certain parts of Refrain too, especially at the end of the game his dialogue is all voiced.

And if we're going to be very specific there's only three main characters: Naoe Riki, Natsume Rin and Natsume Kyousuke. The rest of the characters mentioned are important support characters. The ones yet to be mentioned are either regular support characters (Kanata, Sasami) or EX-only characters (Saya). Of course, that's if they go with the canon pairing (although regardless of the pairing chosen Natsume Rin will always be a main character).
