Haha Wednesday, that'd be something. I would love for Wednesday and Leeds to make it back to the Premier League though. Maybe one day they will.

Unbelievable. Fucking unbelievable. It had to be Drogba who won the game for Chelsea as well - amazing header and cool penalty.

Seemingly dead and buried against Napoli, going 2-0 down against Barcelona in the semi-finals, and then going 1-0 down with less than 10 to go at Bayern.

... should have put a bet on in hindsight. :P

((Also, Tottenham out of the CL - trolololol))

What a sick and cruel joke this was. Devastating (because totally unnecessary) defeat. If I ever saw an undeserved champion it's gotta be Chelsea. But then again if you have like two dozen opportunities to score and make use of only one of them you don't deserve to win either.

Got over it as far as you can get over something like this (a 3 1/2 hour drive has gotta be good for SOMETHING, right?) and might share some impressions of the public viewing in the Olympiastadion in Munich later.

Oh yeah before I forget: FUCK ROBBEN that cock sucking, arrogant loser bitch! Dickhead made us lose TWO titles this year because he thinks he is oh so great and should shoot penalties. THE SAME FUCKING CORNER AS AGAINST DORTMUND. They should fire his ass. Fucker.

So here are a few pics now (sorry for size):

A couple hours before the match (not inside the stadium yet). The people in the back are standing in line to get themselves photographed with the trophy. Would've been an awesome souvenir but I really didn't feel like queueing for ~one and a half hour in this heat (weather was really really great).

Now inside the Olympiastadion, still roughly two hours until kickoff. That's Sunrise Avenue playing there, by the way.

It's getting more crowded inside...

Now during the match (it's pretty dark and you can't see much).

No photos from after the game for obvious reasons. 65,000 depressed and utterly disappointed people wasn't exactly a scene I wanted to remember.

If it wasn't for the result this would've been a really awesome day. Great weather and the atmosphere was amazing. But really the result pretty much ruined what could've been great memories :(

@grandy: 'undeserved' champions? Man, talk about bitter much. The fact they beat Barcelona en route should be tribulation enough so as to deserve victory, let alone beating Germans on penalties.

Getting two shots on goal in 120 minutes of a finale is pretty damn lame if you ask me. Luck is always a part of the game, but this was a bit too much. Yes, they were the inferior team. And yes, of course I'm bitter because of that.

Drogba's header was not luck, that was him doing what he does. Bayern's missed opportunities were not unlucky, they were Bayern being terrible (most notably the penalty of course). Not to mention the refs were clearly, clearly biased in Bayern's favour. They were handed the game and they didn't accept it, simple as that.
