| Oh wow, initially I wasn't going to watch this series but I was curious to see what it was like. So I gave it a shot and bam, loved it. Although Medaka's oversized breasts kinda makes me not want to watch this series, her personality is awesome. Also Zenkichi's loyalty and love towards her is unbeatable. That bit where he said she's a 'tsundere' was hilarious. xD The Kendo club guys are unique characters as well. The leader, Moji voiced by the same guy who voices Oga from Beelzebub and Kamina from Gurren Lagann and he even looks like Kamina lmfao. Medaka is also voiced by the same person who voices Aoi from Beelzebub. So after Beelzebub was finished, seeing those two in the same scene again was awesome :) Shiranui is a comical loli character, gotta love her. xD The fan-service is alright I guess. That stripping though, wtf. xD Actually looking forward to more episodes. Although this is kinda like Sket Dance only that it's the school council. xD |

| This was actually quite impressive...I didn't expect this show to be good at all, but the first episode is really promising. Even with the fan service, which I usually dislike, Medaka seems to be an interesting character. Also, I just loved that part where Zenkichi said that Medaka's second special power is TSUNDERE. :D |
| The only think I have trouble digesting is....Kamina. Why? Why so brazen in parodying such a trademark character. At least they could of done is change his appearance a little bit >_> |
| I still can't believe Medaka is voiced by Aki Toyosaki. The fact that Medaka sounded so different from the usual characters Aki voiced like Kazari Uiharu, Yui Hirasawa, Keena Soga and Chitose Ikeda means she's either getting better at voice acting, or she simply never had the chance to use her voice acting skills on a different type of character. Never really imagined someone like her would be voicing a Tall, Dark and Bishoujo type of character like Medaka. I admit that I wasn't originally going to watch this, but the seemingly odd VA choice for the main character really intrigued me, and so I gave in. |
| For some reason, this show just seems bad. Like the pacing was just off the entire episode. I'll give it one more episode, but so far I am not impressed. |
| Great! Not what I was expecting, but still Great! And, what's with all the people complaining about ecchi? There was hardly any! One scene in her pantsu, and a flashback of the same scene? I've seen 80's mecha that was more ecchi than this! I didn't expect it to be so Shounen and GAR! Awesome! Urahara Out!! |

| Art 10/10! Characters 10/10! Plot 10/10! Ecchi 10/10! Comedy 10/10! This anime had a good start and great first impression! I love how one of those third year's looks EXACTLY like Kamina from Gurren Lagann! A male tsundere is something I've never seen before and honestly I think its more adorable than any female tsundere! Medaka is insane, but in the good way. The shota beats every loli in a adorableness contest! Overall this is pure win. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the season and the second season when it airs. |

| First ep is easily a 10/10 from me. This anime is great. It has a good soundtrack, stunning animation and very very interesting characters and plot. |

| Toyosaki Aki's voice seems weird on Medaka, I think Saito Chiwa would've been a better choice to voice Medaka. Good first episode and I like how the blue-haired kendo guy was voiced by Kamina. Smart choice of VA. |

| For some reason, this reminds me of Haruhi Suzumiya if it were done by Gainax. Something with regards to the meta nature, the over-eccentric high school girl who's perfect at everything and possesses little shame trying to lead the school towards some strange direction with an absurd amount of charisma, and a snarky boy getting dragged along the way really makes me recall the Haruhi series. Though, if I'm correct, this was created after the formation of Trigger. However, Ikuo Kuwana, who is listed under character design on MAL, also worked on Dead Leaves, Hanamaru Kindergarten, Panty & Stocking and Gurren Lagann, so Medaka Box still retains its Gainax-ish visual quirks. |

| Seeing that Kumagawa guy on so many favorites list has ignited my curiosity otherwise I'd probably never even bothered with this anime. But this first episode was decent, not sure why the show has such a bad rep among the reviewers. |
