1- the animation in here really sucked
2- in the scene where megumi went to her brother's room, I thought for sure he would be dead on the floor.
3- the scene w/ satou and misaki made me lol.

thats all I have to say for this ep.

It seems I might have jumped the gun a little - the series has dropped in quality since the Kawisa arc ended. The MMORPG story was rather boring and the scam arc was even less interesting. Compared to the previous episodes, 15-18 aren't in the same class. It's too bad if the series is going to be disappointing until the end...

What's really bugged me about these episodes is the feeling that they're nothing more than fillers designed to extend the story. None of the 4 episodes have added anything to the main characters or shown signs of Satou improving. For some reason, Misaki's character still hasn't been explained, which is annoying when it should've been after the Kawisa arc.

Edit: Also, I just watched EP19 and it has the worst animation of a fairly recent series I've ever seen. Horrible.

I can't believe I've gone from rating the series 10/10 after 14 to rating it 8-9/10 after 15-19. :/

What's wrong with the animation?!?! Episode 4 had the same problem. It's like the main people working on the anime were busy and left the job for their 5 year old kids. Disappointing!

i don't care much about the animation(but it would be nice if it was a bit better), but the plot for this episode was really interesting(even though it didn't help the main plot, it is a very well standalone episode)

They have been doing this cutting corners on the anamitation in more than a few eps. Usually it was just a scene or 2. The whole ep? Wow....

It seems the series is on the way back up, after several boring episodes. 13 was the last really great one, it seems. This one was ok, but I am surprised that her brother, even after almost starving, could leave the house and become so normal so quickly.

And oh my god why are Pres' breasts so mind-bogglingly massive? Ewwww, gross.

I just want to see more of Misaki's cooking. She's too awesome.
The animation changed, but I think it was deliberate, especially in the scene where Pres comes down to find the three of them still hadn't left, it was all striking blocks of colour and shadow there.
Get a life and stop reading my signature...

Mhh for me, this episodes weren't exactly fillers...it's just another way to show satou-kun where all of this can end....

btw i was expecting that her brother wouldn't die....if it comes to a decision of life and death...human always would try to live...

oh and this miskai/satou scene was great lol (if this series would be hentai, it wouldn't just look like that... :D lol)

In your world people don't ever commit suicide, huh? Nice place. =o

I like how Torotoro overcame a crippling social anxiety disorder 'cause he was hungry. It made me laugh.

i didn't think the last few episodes were terribly boring. i rather liked them. i liked how they ended this pyramid scheme arc. i felt really bad for the president and how her life turned out. but apparently according to people on here, episode 19 is worse? ouch. guess i'll have to watch and see.

Nahh...i didn't say anything like that...sure some people go through the end but even then....i'm sure no one really wants to die...but if the circumstances are just too bad..well, it 's not like you never think about it...

But i still think, deep inside no one wants to die, even if they "choose" suicide...

Heartbreaking episode. Despite what she does, you can´t help it but really feel for Megumi. Glad, the ending was a little more heartwarming

It seemed like a bit of a drastic change for Toro to just up and leave his apartment. I know starving to death would get him out of his house (anyone would do that for food), but to stay and work afterwards? Or maybe the kindness of the people there convinced him that it's ok to be outside...that would make sense.

The animation seemed deliberate in my opinion. If it wasn't, the last few episodes would have had the same quality.

Satou is obviously getting better. He's keeping his apartment clean (though maybe that's just because Misaki is there), and he's actually beginning to get his shit together. I just hope this show can end on a good note, because I swear I've almost had to stop watching because his life is just so damn pitiful.

Ugly animation, it was regular for parts but for other parts it was like the characters were but into a blender. I was disappointed with teh overall feel of the episode, because everything worked out very conveniently in the end for Megumi and her older brother.

Yeah there was something wrong with the animation. :/

But oh well, it was still a nice episode.

The only reason why I'm probably not a hikkikomori is probably because I'd starve. XD

I hope that I won't be Gonzo'd in the last 5 eps.
And for Satou's shirt, see http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D1%85%D1%83%D0%B9#Russian
I'm kinda glad Toro survived - it proved that given enough determination, a drowning man will clutch at a straw. In his case, the straw was outside.

Didn't have any problems with animation, it was noticeable that it wasn't the best but i wasn't put off by it.

Guess thats all you have to do to cure hikkimorism, don't feed them in their cages. Glad it worked out for Megumi and her brother.

Dear God, WHAT??? This episode had animation quality so piss-poor (seriously, even for this series it's by far a new low) and fanservice so crass as to be almost literally nauseating. The last-minute time-skip that came completely out of nowhere didn't help things either. Seriously, what HAPPENED to this series??? I wanted so much to love it, but it keeps doing these totally retarded things. I just really, really hope it gets significantly better as we get into the final run. A sufficiently good ending may save it yet, but it'll have to be MIND-BLOWING to make up for this hideousness.

@Yakuyuu-addict: Yeah, well, we've already seen that this series is unwilling to go all the way when taking on darker subject matter. Though frankly, at least this situation was more believable than the conclusion of the suicide arc. Using a time-skip to resolve it, however, is just terrible writing.

50% of the animation in this episode was awful. I really hope it goes back in the next one.

This episode surprisingly didn't focus on Sato so much (Sato's growing out of his hikkikomori state). I kind of liked it. I'm curious to see how the series will end.

This ep was refreshing x) I'm proud of Megumi's brother, that he managed to start a new life.
But I didn't like the animation. Something is wrong.

"...our faces marked by toil, by deceptions, by success, by love; our weary eyes looking still, looking always, looking anxiously for something out of life, that while it is expected is already gone – has passed unseen, in a sigh, in a flash – together with the youth, with the strength, with the romance of illusions.” - Joseph Conrad ('Youth')

I think it made some sense for Torotoro to get better so quickly. I mean, he already wanted to change and new how to change... he was just afraid to change. The honest worry that he would starve to death made him get over that fear, and the rest was set into motion.

That's good Torotoro isn't a hikikimori anymore, but shouldn't he contact Megumi the good news?

And I seriously wonder if he's going to be the only one working...

The animation in this episode was crap. Guess the animators were lazy.

Anyway this was a pretty good ep. The mouse road arc is finally over.

I can't work out after the critism you gave after this ep than you only downgraded it one or two marks. You word gave the impression that it left alot of questions unanswered. In my book, unless a sequel is planned, that a big no-no. Not sure if the same for you, but your words are harsher than your marking.

What happened to the feet and hand animations? I mean, I didn't care 'till yet, but now the story isn't making much sense anymore either... That Torotoro-guy was able to do what Satou was trying for months in a couple of days?
