| Busou Renkin: It started off okay, both Kazuki and Tokiko are great main characters, but then.. They had to ruin it with their version of the homunculus that does not match the depicted homunculus of the games, "Shadow of Destiny" or "Star Ocean 3". The main characters remind me of "Shining Tears x Wind" and "TOKKO", but still... Their homunculus part of the story was rather bizarre. Onmyou Tai Senki: The idea of elementary school students crosses with the story of "Ghost Hunt" and "Rental Magica", we have something similar to the manga, "Sukeban Deka" but instead of using the yo-yo as a weapon, it is used to summon a deity which greatly resembles something similar to a crossover of "Custom Robo" and "Monster Farm". I was expecting a "Rental Magica" anime and ended up watching something so odd... World Destruction: A very popular anime based on a DS game from Sega. Well, it is pretty good if the anime featured mostly human characters and it would end up resembling "Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim" in terms of the main characters labelled as rebels/terrorists and are on the run. However, if the soldiers chasing these terrorists are actually cats *meow*, something doesn't seem right. Aside from that, one of the team members is a very cute-looking teddy bear. Apparently, the World Destruction universe is about racial discrimination between humans, animals, and possibly plush dolls. Pretty interesting, yet pretty strange too.. |
