| Anime. The manga almost always has the more complete story. But the music, voices, and animation adds more to my enjoyment that manga can't duplicate no matter how well they're drawn. |

| Having the music, voices, animation, and color raises the enjoyment for me so I prefer anime. Manga is great and is the source of most anime, but when you watch an anime that has everything perfect, music, art, animation, and story then it's like a solo compared to an orchestra and captures your ears, eyes, and mind better. |

| I prefer anime in general. For a long time I just couldn't get into manga. Especially not shounen manga or anything with action, unfortunately. It's just not the same as watching it in anime. But I recently got into reading shoujo manga, I enjoy those :) |

| I prefer manga. For what I've read and wacthed so far they have an higher re-do value, often better story and better arts in general. I just can't get myself to prefer animation and anime drawing to the work of great people like Minazuki, Ashinano, Miura and Kyung-Il Yang. If it comes down to music and voices I just don't need them. Like if it was a book I can imagine them or just switch on the radio and put on a CD of great soundtracks. |

| Animations, soundtracks and colors makes animes better. Manga rarely has scenes that amazes me, fights gets confusing, sad scenes don't really feel sad, Its rather hard to make people get emotional or excited at few black and white pics. |

| In a perfect world, I would prefer anime. However oftentimes the anime aren't adapted properly and since manga are much easier to proudce there is a much wider variety of manga. I still watch anime FAAR more than I read manga. And, like the person above me, I watch it dubbed. I am pretty busy so while I'm working on other things I turn anime on and obviously dubs work better for this. I stopped being a sub snob years ago. =) |

| I think it depends, but I guess in a nutshell I'd have to say Anime because personally, I feel more of a connection to the characters as I can hear their voices, watch them move and talk and it just feels like you're going on a journey with them. (Not to mention: gorgeous art and animation, soundtrack and OP/ED themes) However, I so think there there are some stories that are just better told as manga rather than anime. So i guess it just depends on the story :D |
| As a medium anime is far superior - you have pictures that move and you have people voicing the characters. I do not read much manga but when I do even if it's the greatest manga on the planet (like Sanctuary) I find myself wishing I could hear the characters speak (so much is lost in the tone of their voice etc). There are those who would say manga merely because a lot of manga is badly translated into its anime variant, this is not the medium's fault but the translator's i.e the production house's. |

But even then, manga generally does show and do a bit more than anime. At the cost of actual movement, color, and voice acting. Anyway, I prefer anime. Only for the color and OP/ED sequences. Otherwise manga is better. It's /way/ faster to read, and goes into depth and stays true to it's own story. |

| I don't have a preference but I will say that I have not seen any anime that can compare to my top two manga. |
| Anime. While manga does have pictures and even color sometimes, there is nothing like seeing beautifully animated scenes come to life in a series. |
