| I just love seeing otaku culture episodes in anime, it never gets tiring. It was hilarious seeing Sato getting sucked in. Remember, the golden rule is to buy it RIGHT NOW! That super alien ghost childhood friend maid robot combination was nuts :p if they follow through with the eroge I'm willing to bet he'll use Misaki as the model for one though. |

| Of course, eroge automaticaly lead to Akihabara! xD So Satou continue is journey as an otake, where he meet his sempai. It look like she is someone special to him. I wonder if she will be disgusted to what he have become. Next episode, it seem like he agree to take part of Misaki project. Maybe his sempai will convince him. Edit : And yeah, the animation quality really dropped in this episode, the face were often detailled to the minimum. |

| I noticed too the change of art in this episode, it seemed more inaccurate in its unaccuracy. But great episode, this is all so realistic and funny.. |

| In my opinion, this episode is making the series feel extremely convoluted thus far. While it is an effort to 'introduce' hobbies for the main character Satou, the main idea seems off, as if this anime is beating about the bush. Hope it circles back after some episodes. |

| I allready knew Yamazaki was not the best hikikomori doctor in town, but he's also the worst hentai and a misogynist. He needs to fix his own issues first and does not deserve to share his name with one of Japan's finest whiskies XD Also, the series' biggest ship has just embarked. olmecalmighty said: Well that’s weird; Akihabara is one hell of a place for a hikikomori to be. | I don't think the first two-thirds were bad, but I kind of felt like I was being given a lesson on otaku culture. Except for a few scenes (Sato comparing the basic character principles to Misaki, and his flashback), I didn't find it interesting. I was amused by the moment of self reference (appeal to the masses but turn their world upside down), and the Frankenstein's monster OC. But then there was a really long pause where nothing really happened, at face value at least. It wasn't really boring, in fact it was a little bit of relief after the otaku jokes. I guess Sato was observing real-life humans passing by. I definitely didn't expect Sato's senior to turn up, and by the looks of it, she turned out much better than Sato, if one considers they were friends in high school. |

| Sato appears to be a talented writer...I'd play his eroge about the goddess. "But aren't maids kind of..." "DUMBASS!" The best eroge can turn ugly stereotypes into great sexual fantasies. Part of me can't believe Sato's never heard of these anime/eroge cliche characters before. Then again, he did just discover Internet porn. "Pretty awesome! She doesn't do that kind of stuff on TV, does she? But now every time you see her..." Doujinshi in a nutshell. Sato's really hung up on that Misao girl from the one game as his waifu. He's gone full weeb... "She's not just a robot...she's a maid robot!" "YOU'RE AMAZING!" Oh my god, they're totally satirizing the production of ridiculous moe VNs/anime and it's beautiful. | This episode makes me want to go on a "pilgrimage to the Holy Land" as well! I've heard that expression many times before and was a bit weirded out by it... but I guess it's either a popular phrasing predating this anime, or a line from this anime. So now I feel more comfortable using it. :P Call me weird, but I liked the drop of quality in animation. I assumed it was done on purpose, to make it look funnier, and at least for me it worked. But I guess I really am a weirdo like that. It's funny that Sato's life really becomes a "gal game" like that. My favorite character so far has got to be Yamazaki though, he's just too funny and relatable for me. |

| Ahhh a holy pilgrimage to the holy land where all the fellow weebs and otaku visit... Seeing Sato and Yamazaki just going out together and having fun carelessly with such passion really just made me smile, such joyful moments for them, but I know that it won't last as it should have. Well, at least Sato got a few bits of inspiration for the character- which he rejected. BTW, Yamazaki's skill to draw a character based on vague descriptions alone is absolutely incredible! The animation in some of the scenes in this ep was downright bad, but I don't really hate it tbh. SENPAI? |
