Highschool DxD Episode 12 Discussion

Great ending for a great series! Really loved the fight. Was surprised Issei sacrificed his left arm. And the use of holy water and the cross, he's smarter than he looks, after all x) He really deserved the kiss from Rias.

Was wondering why no one mentioned about Raizer's sister. She was blushing at Issei, seems like she fell in love too :P Call me weird, but I found his sister to be really cute :P

Wow I really liked the ending and right now I'm hoping that the anime production will keep going and follow the novel. Any hope for that to actually happen?

This series was just great it got better and better with each episode. Issie looked awesome in that armor. Next up the White Dragon and think Rias brother was saying. If they don't make a 2nd season I will really be disappointed.

1 thing i have to say: Won't this series end up without a second season? Somehow i got the feeling it will meet the same fate as Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls. I love both shows but it just pisses me off that ecchi animes doesnt tend to get a second season

Man what a great episode. A great ending for the episode and possibly series but I truly hope they don't end it here. It was too short for such a great anime. Hopefully there will be more episodes otherwise ima throw a fit lol.

It's all about execution man. I really liked it and great ending to top it off with Issei trashing Phoenix like a Boss. 9/10 just for the entertainment value.

I'll give the series 8/10 cause it was consistent with the light novel but with too much fanservice.

I hope they'll make a sequel.

10/10 Loved the series. Leading on to think a Season 2 will come since Ria gonna finally live in his house, plus theres still lots of things untold to come.

great episode 5/5 i think they ended this season pretty well and i really do hope for a second season, it will probably come out after the light novels have more releases

overall i give this show an 8-8.5/10 it was funny, enjoyable and it had a interesting story and ending, a lot of people complain about the overuse of fan service but i never paid attention to that, i never really care about fan service because im a guy and i aint gay :P

this was an amazing anime i really really enjoyed it. at first it seemed like just another ecchi harem show like all the others ive seen but there is something different about the issei that really sets it apart from the rest. not to mention how cute all the girls look in it. great anime had lots of fun and cant wait for season 2.

If you want a decent price you should import it from Amazon. I believe it's cheaper at 2 other shops but none ship outside of Japan without a proxy service which adds extra costs.

yes I would think so but wait, was there no news of Funnimation licensing this. I know loads of Satanic people that would love this shit for sure. USA has way more loads of them than Japan. I think it should be done apart from I am sure loads of other people that will buy it for dub.

I liked the ending. I was suprised to see issei using a cross and a holy water to defeat raizer, he could have done it in 10s if he didn't talk so much anyway.
I really hope they make more seasons of it ( I hope they animate all the LN).

It was as I predicted, but still I loved the whole series, and the end was very romantic. I love romantic stuff xD I would reeeeeally like if they made a Season 2. This was one of the most entertaining animes I've watch in a while. I give it a 9/10.

I think they ended it the way they did and left stuff out because they didn't want to end with major cliffhangers. All in all, the anime was very much like the Novel and Manga, with a few changes.

I agree with everyone else. If the anime was like this the whole 12 episodes it would have been so much better. Last episode was surprisingly awesome.

Why did the Phoenix guy let Issei pull out a bottle of holy water, open it, and pour it on him? Why then did he stand there while Issei ran up to him and punched him? Oh ye, because it's convenient for the story.

Just one of the many reasons why this was a horrible excuse for an anime. Seriously guys, stop wasting your time watching fanservice garbage like this and go watch something actually good like Natsume Yuujinchou or something.

Highschool DxD = tasteless fanservice show only interested in titillating the viewer.
Natsume Yuujinchou = emotionally moving and involving drama that has beautiful art.

That was a pretty decent episode to end the season, I wanted to see issie's arm covered in dragon scales instead of the boosted gear, like they did in they novel.

I agree it's a good series but.....The serious lack of a love interests gives the series no drive for me.....I just find it really boring to watch an anime that has no love interests....Tears to Tiara pissed me off because all the girls liked the guy who was BARELY a main character, The main Character was Arthur.

I do agree that the fanservice is a tad annoying but it's bearable all for the sake of Issei and Rias paring <3.

Much better than i thought it would be; Issei kicking Raiser's ass was long coming; Also Rias giving her first kiss to Issei :D; This needs a Season 2, from what i hear the novels are way ahead of this, so there is no reason not to have one XD
