If you're reading this, that means that you've just completed the ecchiest (if that's even a word) anime of the season with a decent story plot! Anyways, picking up from last time... Issei wakes up from his little nap after getting whopped and finds out about the wedding. However! Dat wedding crash!!! Rias' brother Lucifer: Rematch: :) Issei's "reward": Great episode tbfh. Issei's armor is over 9000. It looks like Epiyon from Wing Gundam. Lots of drama in the beginning which panned out rather a sheer of happiness during the fight with Phoenix afterward. Whom was good and full of action. Issei is fucking NASTY! Acid (Holy Water is like that to demons) burning his face! OUCH! That really deformed him and he had trouble healing from what I saw. That Cross/Holy water combo was not supposed to be impossible however Dragons can be neutral so I guess it’s plausible still. Guess in thee end Phoenix was secured by his little sister minion and well for a minute I though clothing shredder time but I guess not. Perhaps specials show her naked? You know what fuck that, I know….there should be a special of how ecchi is Phoenix with his Harem. Like that we get to see all of them naked. Yeah that could be a good special now that I think about it. Anyway Issei got his kiss and I doubt he will have sex but I guess at least that is left in thee end. I mean he did A (Kiss on the lips) and B (Breasts/ass/body parts touching of Rias) so C is left sex. Other than French Kiss with Tongue and Saliva F where? That could have been better like that. Omomari Himari had a hot one so why not in there? Other than that here is my expectations that I am PLATINUM MAD about but still I might as well say it. Issei gave Raiser his long overdue justice, didn't expect he would also use Asia's cross and Holy Water to do so, the ending punch was nothing short of awesome, Raiser deserved every hit, drop, and purification by cross. Issei's Crimson Dragon Armor is awesome. Toujou can fight well in formalwear, enjoyed that so much. I like a lady who can kick ass in a dress. 5/5 EP 8.7/10 overall  |
A good fight to end the anime. Not much ecchi but there's the specials and OVA to look forward to.  |
Has anyone read the light novels yet? From what I've been told, the anime only covered material up to 2 volumes. Yes, that's right. 2 volumes which means another 10 (once the 12th volume comes out sometimes in April) So, I'm expecting season 2 in the future. |

Lets face it i watched this show for the well drawn ladies. Gremory Rias is one of the best I've seen these past few seasons. It was cheap at times with the lecherous protagonist trope in full display. But it did have a certain charm to it. The last episode was pure win. It really made this series a solid 8/10 for me. No OP. That soul talking to the guy. He forgot about why sempai resigned... Others already went to the engagement party. Brother gave a paper to the party, and said if he wants to take her back, he can use it. Sister said she wants to be any help, but he told her to stay. Fiance's sister is very proud. The group thinks it's not finished, and when the guy came, they came to help. Brother sounds like Suwabe-san. So he invited him so that he can see the power of Dragon's vs. Phenix's. lol @ the fiance's sense of dress. He got the power in exchange for his boosted hand for a short time, so he can carry and use Cross and saint water from the Sister. He won and got sempai back. When sending sempai back, he got her kiss! lol @ the end (in various way). I ♥ Two Syaorans from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and TRC!!! |
Didn't have high expectations for this one but it was definitely entertaining and I wouldn't mind seeing more. 7/10 |
Fuck yes this was rewarding. Issei's determination really shone through sacrificing his arm to the Dragon like that. Though the victory in itself was smart using the Dragon limb to not only bypass the effects of the Cross and Holy Water but to also amplify them against Raiser. |
Although it seems cheap, using Asia's items to win the fight just means that Issei isn't at his maximum potential. Which leaves the show open to another season for more hardcore fights that would require him to become stronger. Enjoyable series overall. Light hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously. Hopefully, if there's a season 2, the other characters get fleshed out more, since they are pretty interesting. A good Koneko episode with her realizing her crush on Issei would be hilarious too. The chip in my mind, it summons me. I gave my life to your machines. |

You have to factor in that Issei used Boosted Gear Gift on it as well amplifying the effects enormously. |
This is probably my all time favorite ecchi/action show. As an ecchi/action show i give it a 10/10 Story 8/10 Akeno is by far the best female on the show. Followed by the Prez. |

Good episode,the phoenix got burn. Great way to end the series,first we know a little about what is the real power of Issei,the red dragon. Issei was awesome this episode,he sacrifice his arm,he crash the wedding,he kick Raiser ass bad,even that i liked Raiser i really enjoy seeing him get his ass kick.He save Risa i must save Issei for this episode you deserve an applause! Issei using a cross and holy water was not cheap,is strategy he is facing a phoenix you need a cheat to beat that cheat. At the end he got a well deserved kiss from Risa...and even she moved with him,poor Asia btw she was sooooo jealous. Well it has been a fun ride,the anime itself was decent,the ecchi was great the characters are pretty nice and the fight was great its been a while since this but i giving a Ecchi based anime and 8/10 i really enjoy it and i am waiting for a second season!!! To me it's still not clear the lenght of the effects nor how much they impair the receiver of it? So far it's like damage that can't be prevented by a demon. So you can Phoenix into JELLO if you poor a huge bucket of that water on him? Remember he use Boost Gear to make the holy water more effective thats why it make him really took damage not the holy water itself,for demons it may be still really dangerous but it wouldn't be that much problem for a high level demon like Raiser if wasn't for the Boost gear. Issei my boy outdid himself this episode. Totally deserved the kiss from Rias. Hell he deserves to marry that beauty. RiasxIssei <3 Ooh how I enjoyed seeing Raiser getting his ass handed to him. That arrogant little prick deserved all of it. Way to go, Issei. Way to go. Well Rias' brother's queen mentioned a white dragon (won't look for further information) so I strongly assume that there will be a second season after the announced OVA. I haven't read the novel nor the manga but I'm nonetheless sure that there is *much more* to cover. Season 2 is a must at this point. By the way, @the guy who asked about figures- just check out myfigurecollection, buddy, and search for Highschool DxD. There are a few figures that will be released this year so the sales should be warranted. I, for one, will buy 'em plus the BDs. Anyway, can't wait for a second season. :P 10/10 for this episode and 10/10 for the whole anime. The release of atomic energy has not created a new problem. ehh, so Issei didn't talk to Rias's father? Also they didn't really emphasize the fact this arm is no longer his, and that he would have to hide it during school or something, but whatever. Overall it was pretty good, even though it was an ecchi show, it didn't really try too hard, I know that sounds weird considering the amount of nudity in the show, but it was actually interesting. I would like to see a season 2. |

very good anime, i like how they made issei using holy tools because it's kinda hard to believe for issei to beat raiser, a high level devil with his own evil pieces and raiser has way more experience fighting. Even though Issei had the sacred gear he hasn't trained much with and doesn't have much experience. I really enjoyed this anime, been a while where i can watch a good ecchi anime :) 8.5/10 for me (hope theres a 2nd season since anime covers of 2 novels) |
Balance Breaker! In all it's red and armored glory. I've been waiting for this one. I don't like the yellow whiskers though. I like how they made the count slow even if Issei said it was just ten seconds. Much reasonable though it was wasted on talking. But everything else, it was pretty well done. They mentioned the Vanishing Dragon and they made a cameo of one of the future characters so I'm really expecting a second season here. Make it happen please.  |

Thank goodness for Shounen Hax huh... Right, like they're really going to let the Best character in the series be defiled by a womanizer who doesn't love her at all. The ending was predictable, cliche, and unexciting, IMO. However, they didn't fuck it up and overall it was a very nice way to wrap up a great ecchi anime with a mediocre plot. I enjoyed this anime as much as anyone else, the ecchi was 10/10, the story was cliche and stupid at times so that gets a 5/10. All the girls were great, except for Rias who was PERFECT and therefore she literally raises the score to this anime 1 point up. The Main Character is nothing more than a recycled protagonist from the hundreds of anime with this exact genre, he wasn't terrible, but he wasn't great either. Although I really didn't like Issei, in the end he played out his role pretty well and thankfully he didn't ruin the anime. OVERALL.....7/10.....better than I expected but still nothing short of cliche nonsense with glorious ecchi to drown out the stupidity. |

I would like to see a season 2. Well they did emphasize that, it took the magic of both Akeno and Asia to create the illusion of a normal arm and even then it took time for them to get it right. I'd think that would be a fairly important plot point in future. I really enjoyed the show generally, only just shy of a 10/10 from me purely because it was only a 12 episode show so I'm obviously really looking forward to the announcement of a season 2 as well.  |
An perfect ending to a fantastic series. I've loved it since episode 1. This episode was intense and ended perfect. The suit was so badass and the kiss made it really sweet. Issei and Rias are the best. I feel a season 2 coming very soon. Especially with mentions the of the White Dragon, and how Rias said there could be more engagements in the future, and that priest from the beginning of the season could be back. Either way, I'm really REALLY looking forward to it. I loved this anime since episode 1. The story, the characters, everything. I give it a 10/10 and I'm looking forward to season 2! |

Great ending for a great series! Really loved the fight. Was surprised Issei sacrificed his left arm. And the use of holy water and the cross, he's smarter than he looks, after all x) He really deserved the kiss from Rias. Was wondering why no one mentioned about Raizer's sister. She was blushing at Issei, seems like she fell in love too :P Call me weird, but I found his sister to be really cute :P |

This series was just great it got better and better with each episode. Issie looked awesome in that armor. Next up the White Dragon and think Rias brother was saying. If they don't make a 2nd season I will really be disappointed. |

1 thing i have to say: Won't this series end up without a second season? Somehow i got the feeling it will meet the same fate as Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls. I love both shows but it just pisses me off that ecchi animes doesnt tend to get a second season |
Man what a great episode. A great ending for the episode and possibly series but I truly hope they don't end it here. It was too short for such a great anime. Hopefully there will be more episodes otherwise ima throw a fit lol. |
