| The co-creator of the Macross series Shoji Kawamori, announced that there will be a new Macross anime tentatively titled Macross F(Macross Frontier). The series will be directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi with character designs by Mikan Ehime and Yuichi Takahashi and musical score, by Yoko Kanno. The story in production takes place around 2070 A.D. on a galactic colonization fleet named Macross Frontier according to Kawamori. |
