 According to Mainichi News, an anime movie of Hunter x Hunter was announced. It will be a brand new story. The release date hasn't been revealed yet.According to Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the serialization of Hunter x Hunter manga will be suspended for the time being after the release of Chapter 340. | I take it that the new Hunter x Hunter anime is a great success then, financially? I like it a lot, especially these last couple of months. I'm hoping it'll manage to animate all of the manga (or at least, all of the manga that has been published so far). |

| Best news of the day, I must point out though how shocked I am at how early in the series this was green lit. After only 20 episodes it already has a movie announced, I guess that must mean from a ratings standpoint and finacial outlook that Hunter x Hunter (2011) is pretty successful. Either way, great news. |

| I'm glad, as Hunter x Hunter is really worthy of the same attention the likes of the big 3 get at the mo'. Even if the movie is rubbish; lousy filer worthy material, something is better then nothing when it comes to aknowledgement? | !!! I don't think I've been this excited about anything for a while. I wonder what kind of story it's going to be. Fillers don't necessarily have to be bad... that Escher Tower story on the radio CD's was pretty awesome, for instance. I trust Madhouse to come up with something on par with that. |
